She is. As a background character.

She's probobly learnt her lesson after each of her actions causes her to get less faith; not more. MoF she managed to make the Tengu hate her. Then she caused SA by feeding Utusho Yatagarasu; which freed the Ship which caused UFO and thus released Byakuren and created the Myouren Temple. Then the faith the Myouren Temple was collecting on top of Miko's Mausoleum caused Miko to wake up. Which wouldn't have happened if the Ship was never freed; which would not have happened if Kanako did not empower Utusho. It's questionable if Kokoro would have lost her mask of hope and Koishi would have found it without Kanako's actions; but the 'Religious War' would not have happened if not for Kanako's prior actions. [It's also questionable if Koishi would have reacted to the mask the same if she had never met Reimu/Marisa]

Seriously. Kanako dun goofed. I wouldn't be surprised if Utusho got more faith than her from Satori's other pets [Such as the other ravens] worshiping her.

The bosses would be based on Microsoft products that had become fantasy through obsolescence (Wingdows 3milia Scarlet). These characters would be intended to be temporary stand-ins, but YITIYARNS would never really find a skilled enough character designer to replace them.

YITIYARNS 3.0 Beta would be incompatible with previous versions, but would include a new playable character named Hurdmima, as well as a built-in web browser for automatically downloading and installing fan-made stages. Unfortunately, years would pass without the release of a stable version. As for Open Touhou itself, it would soon be superseded by a closed-source rewrite.

It would spawn a spin-off series of fighters separate from the shooters and they will have wildly different storylines, causing confusion between fans and various arguments about Reimu's favorite fruit, for some reason.
