> You shrink down your wings.  Konngara looks dismal at this.
> "...Um...which shrine?"

> "Eh? You liked them? I can make them bigger again..."
> Grow the wings back out.

> You expand your wings again, and Konngara's eyes light up.
> "Close, close~~"

> Get closer to Konngara, and kneel in front of her.
> "Um..."

> Konngara blinks.  "Nn?"

> "Wait, you said 'closer', right?"
> Oh man did we misunderstand her? Look to Kogasa for help.

> Konngara shakes her head, but moves to the side and reaches out to pet your wings.

> She seems to like your wings, though; she's practically hugging them at this point.  Kogasa looks a little jealous.

> Shake our head at Kogasa. We'll talk about this later.

> You'll talk about it later.
> Kogasa nods in understanding and takes her hand away from Konngara's hair.

> To Konngara: "You're so cute! What are you doing all the way out here?"

> "...I live here..."  She looks kind of flustered.

> "All alone? Nobody else?"

> Konngara shakes her head back and forth.  "Kikuri...it's her shrine."

> Glance at Kogasa, then back to Konngara.
> "Oh, so you're her shrine maiden? Can we meet Kikuri?"

> Glance at Kogasa, then back to Konngara.
> "Oh, so you're her shrine maiden? Can we meet Kikuri?"

> Kogasa shrugs.
> Konngara nods.  "I wonder if Kikuri's asleep..."  She glances over at the bell hanging over the offeratory box and runs over to it.

> Stand up and join Kogasa. Mutter: "We'll talk later about what's going on here. Let's talk to Kikuri, shall we?"
> Follow Konngara.

> Stand up and join Kogasa. Mutter: "We'll talk later about what's going on here. Let's talk to Kikuri, shall we?"
> Follow Konngara.

> You and Kogasa stand up.  Before heading over to the offeratory box, you mutter to Kogasa that you'll talk about this later.
> "Got it."
> You follow Konngara over to the offeratory box.  She takes hold of the shrine rope and swings it back and forth, and the bell chimes.  She claps her hands together and closes her eyes.
> A few moments pass in silence, and then you see a huge shadow looming over the pathway.

[Sect]

> Look up.

> Look up.

> You all look up.  Looming over the shrine is a transparent bronze orb, glowing with a sickly purple aura.  Inside, you see a young woman with long brown hair, a frilly dress, and wings coming out of her head with her hands pressed against the orb as she looks on in curiosity.  Kogasa gulps.  Konngara, on the other hand, looks really happy to see her and smiles.
> The orb shrinks, and Kikuri hovers closer to the ground.  Part of the orb melts away, and she leans out.
> "You called?" 

> _

[Sect]

> Bow, and smile. "I am Kochiya Sanae of the Moriya Shrine, and this is Tatara Kogasa. We heard about a shrine in the forest, and met little Konngara there. I'm sorry if we disturbed your rest."

> You introduce yourself to Kikuri.  Her expression is kind of hard to read, for the most part.
> "I am Kikuri," she says.  "The goddess of this shrine."
> She looks you over, and then glances at Kogasa.
> "...You're a shrine maiden?  And she didn't hide from you?"
> Konngara fidgets.

> "Konngara took a liking to me, I guess." Flutter our wings. "Or maybe it was just the wings: maybe it reminded her of someone?"
> Stroke our hair meaningfully, referencing Kikuri's own headwings.
> "But yes, I'm a shrine maiden, servant of Yasaka Kanako-sama and Moriya Suwako-sama. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

> "Konngara took a liking to me, I guess." Flutter our wings. "Or maybe it was just the wings: maybe it reminded her of someone?"
> Stroke our hair meaningfully, referencing Kikuri's own headwings.
> "But yes, I'm a shrine maiden, servant of Yasaka Kanako-sama and Moriya Suwako-sama. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

> You explain what happened, and stroke your hair in reference to Kikuri's headwings.
> "She's so shy, it'd be nice if the reason was she took a liking to you."  Kikuri flaps her headwings in turn.  "I'd guess the wings, but nice to meet you.  I thought you were a deity, or at least a demigod."

[Sect]

> "Well, I hope it's because Konngara took a liking to me." Wink at the littlest shrine maiden.
> "Well, Suwako-sama's my ancestor, but really, I'm nothing compared to those two. I do have a little power over miracles, though, so maybe that's where you're getting that impression."
> We've called ourself a living goddess before, but that's really just a title, right? We've couldn't have gotten on the level of Kanako-sama or Suwako-sama, right?
> "So, if you don't mind me asking, does this shrine recieve many visitors? I wasn't even aware of this shrine until a girl at the Buddhist temple told me about it."
