Excellent find, Alex! Speaking of BTM, any word on whether or not a final release has been, er.. Released? And in your opinion, does it look like this new version of it will be the most widely used successor to BTM?

As far as I know, this IS BTM, but under a different name to celebrate the new release.

And I couldn't even test it even though I've tried everything to get it to work.

Logged in first time, got instantly d/c'd reason "moving too fast, hacking?".
It was fine after that.

That's prolly due to you spawning like 50 miles above land :V Happened to me too.

Nice server, but how many forums did you advertise this on? I'm seeing guys from Hongfire and shit. Also, can you sign out when you're not active, as if you dont sign out then we cant skip the night.

You have a conveniently placed house Kips, I built a tree network right outside.

Anyways yeah, The lags pretty bad. With my above-average net, it's pretty obvious the whole "after you mine a block it comes right back and you teleport right where you were before" thing is serverside. Can you get a fix for this?

btw this also happens when I'm the only one in the server.

Fixed the lag issues the server was having. Seems a ton of memory was being used. (500+mb)
All I had to do was restart the server and the memory usage went back down to normal.
I shall now begin restarting the server daily to prevent this from happening without me knowing again.

Makes perfect sense to me, its a trait in minecraft that it sometimes hyper bloats to insane size. I've seen it go over 800mb on my computer before.

I'll give it a go now then.

its better than it was last time lagwise actually, so maybe its now my end, as what kips said was happening is happening to me now, and before that all i got was disappearing blocks, to register anything I'd have had to log in and out.

Edit: DDR, There's been ocassional lag spikes lately. When they happen, it lags a lot. Any way to fix this?

I'm going to guess that's caused by the random Rain/Snow. Which is REALLY annoying.

So the lag is fixed now? Had problems growing trees with bonemeal, but if it's fixed then it should be ok now.
Oh yes, anything not connected by wooden platforms can be cut down. Set a tree on fire and I will kill you.

The huge trees growing on trees, which grow on other trees, which are connected by wooden planks and a house I built with my cousin, and with HUNDREDS of creepers everywhere on the ground.

I'm doing scientific experiments. So far, I've bred tree creepers and skeletons. Eventually I'll make them fly, and then we'll all be screwed.

Ohoho, I see how it is. Think of your backyard as a nature park, where green things like to make their homes on the treetops. And yeah, I'm going to add water to lessen the chance of "instantaneous combustion".

You're going to cause global warming in minecraft if you do that. It's already bad enough with all the coal we're burning.

But in all honesty, If you need help figuring out the spots where Creeper's spawn, well, just put a torch every 4 blocks.
Also you could go on a giant sand hunt and look for like 10 stacks of sand to make lots of glass. So you know, Creeper's dont jump down and completely explode right behind me in a very painful manner.
Also I'm suprised I even lived a close-up explosion. I only had a half-dead hat on (which promptly died afterwards). Now I need to get a lotta iron or leather.
