You can ask all you want, post snippets without worry, and discuss them accordingly. I'd be a little weary of posting most download links, though, despite the fact that you can get tons of stuff through Gensokyo.org and sometimes even the Touhou Wiki itself. And keep it strictly Touhou. Obviously we don't need One Piece manga being distributed through this place.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just use proper judgment, you know?

Also there are tons of human/youkai male in Gensokyo I bet, just that ZUN doesn't care about them. Or they're too weak to be in the game. Of course, Yukari/Yuuka give me a thought that they're running that ancient system in Gensokyo, how you call it, the one when the female is the leader/most important factor in the community. Matriarchy?

You can discuss them, but you cannot provide download links to them.  You can post a page or two as samples or for discussion but we would prefer you do the legwork yourself when it comes to actually obtaining the whole thing.  It's a horribly grey area and to be on the safe side we do not want to be responsible for providing any copyrighted material that isn't explicitly authorized by the creator.

Basically you can post a page or two to bring up a point in a discussion or to give people a teaser to get them interested, but you cannot post the whole thing, either directly or as a link to a downloadable copy.  You are expected to be able to find it on your own.

Finally got around to looking up who exactly Princess Inada is, apart from being the subject of Mountain of Faith's Stage 1 theme. But how does this legend tie in with Mountain of Faith's overall plot? Is there even a connection, or might this be a case of ZUN rolling the dice and making up a title?

The Japanese Wikipedia on クシナダヒメ says that she is enshrined on Yasaka Shrine. I think it's what it says, but I'm not sure.

Her parents are also connected to Suwako's 土着神「手長足長さま」(Native God "Long-Arm and Long-Leg") spell card.

The tune is nothing serious, or angry, actually it's pretty nice and joyful. So let's say Minoriko isn't upset when getting scolded at all => Princess Inada isn't a bad person.
Next, for someone to be able to scold a goddess, Inada should be at least someone important like a shogun => She married Susanoo.

Now, Minoriko's harvest is sweet potatoes which can be planted and harvest from May to October (2 times, May - Aug and Aug - Oct). At the time MoF happens, let's say it's around the end of July (because the release date is August 17) which is exactly when the 1st harvest happens. And that time (June - August) is summer in Japan. Buy the games, rip the music out and burn it onto CDs. There's also the individual music CDs, but that isn't the music from the games (Besides Akyu's Untouched Score, which is PC98 music).

How did Sanae (and Kanako+Suwako) get to Gensokyo and why?

Why? Their faith supply in the outside world was running incredibly low. Nobody visited the shrine anymore, nobody had any faith. Gensokyo is filled with people who have faith in gods, they can show themselves in physical form and use their abilities freely for the most part. It just made sense.
How? They're friggin gods, they can do what they want.

So here's a riddle for anyone who cares to listen.  Okay it's not really a riddle but whatevs.

So in Wild and Horned Hermit, Sanae desires to create a new alloy using Palladium.  This can be achieved by channeling Kanayamahiko-no-Mikoto, the Shinto God of metals.  She enlists Reimu's help for this, claiming that Reimu is the only one capable of doing so.

SO!  My question is why couldn't Sanae do this herself?  She's a shrine maiden (sort of), and has portrayed the ability to channel and summon Kanako in Suwako.  Yet apparently, the only one capable of communing with and channeling with Gods is Reimu?  Is her training just lacking?  But that doesn't seem right, since I'm fairly certain that she actually outranks Reimu.  Technically.

It's less of Kanako and Suwako being summoned, I think it's that they're looking after Sanae and coming to her aid when she needs them.

Besides she's more of a wind priestess than a shrine maiden, IIRC. Can someone confirm?

She's technically a Wind Priestess, which is essentially a shrine maiden whose main role is to channel the Wind God (in this case, Kanako) and create wind and rain.  In the outside world, she apparently gathered so much faith that she became something akin to a living God.  In other words, she's pretty much beyond a shrine maiden (who are technically amongst the bottom ranks in Japanese religious hierarchy).  Or rather, this is what I've managed to gather.  I'm no expert so I could be wrong.  Well, either way, she fulfills the duties of a shrine maiden at the Moriya Shrine, so in a sense, she technically is a shrine maiden.

No no, that's what she was.  There are minor Gods too.  Not every God is Amaterarsu.

She's still technically a Living God in Gensokyo and still outranks Reimu.  Not that Reimu cares, anyway~  :V

I'm not really convinced that "outranks" is actually a thing in Gensokyo, even when you bring gods into the mix. Minoriko and Shizuha are gods, after all.
