>You make your way westward, which is not toward the mansion to the southwest.

True, but maybe it's just something like living out a fantasy or something. (can't think of the proper word.) It seems unlikely this is how Renko really is.

> We have no grudge or hate to the Mansion, but if it's them or Renko getting beat up, it should be them.
> If we tell the Mansion anything about the fairies, it should only be something like that we got close enough to see them having a party. If we even tell anything that is, nothing is making us tell anything.

>These are also considerations. Is Renko really like that? And...would she be worth having as a friend if she did? You've been with her for a couple years now, and you'd like to think you knew her... Maybe you didn't?

>If Koishi is ultimately involved in messing with Renko's head, just stopping this invasion is immaterial. Koishi herself is the more important problem.

>I highly doubt that's how Renko really is. Especially with Koishi having been spotted in the Forest of Magic, Renko's "benefactor" wanting to be secret, well, it just seems so much like her doing. She could just be doing it for fun, or attention, or have some currently unseeable ulterior motive in mind, or perhaps just wanting to vent for having lost Gensokyo Isle. There' s all sorts of understandable possibilities.

Well, of course, Serela. But if it's truly what she herself desires, then she's not really worthwhile as a friend. And if it's NOT something she desires, it will be resolved as the incident is resolved. Course, resolving the incident will come down to us anyway.

>You really want to believe someone else is at fault... But, well, Renko has always kind of liked money, now that you think of it. You're pretty sure she's not a thief, she's had the opportunity in the past...

>"Been taking it easy, pal!" she says as you make your way past.
>You do your best to cheer up. If nothing else, at least Renko's safe, and really does seem to be enjoying herself.
>True to her word, Kisume doesn't try to mug you again on the way back. You think you get a peek of a bucket dangling from the corner of the chamber with the fissures, though.
>Soon, you return to the bridge. You see Parsee there, doing something with the railing.

>"I think she went home to crash," says Parsee. "Yuugi's out busting heads, she's got to catch up and all."
