I'm glad Yuka is still climbing up, even if she wasn't part of a game since 2005.

Poor Mima-sama, 56... well, if she was between top 20 ZUN would be mad and that would screw our chances of getting her back. (Shinki is far behind Mima...)

And the results are in. Please watch warmly as my shitty translation attempts begin. Also, feel free to pitch in if you're able to translate stuff.

Possibly from Seihou or some other mimic game. I found some music from Touhou Mahjong in here.  :V

Scoring lower than the basic enemies is quite disheartening, I'm sure.

Furienify: Fantastic stuff. I've chopped off the bracketed numbers as all they indicate are the number of poll comments that were made on each song. There was no system of 1st place voting for the Music poll.

Edit: They've sorted the errors in the music poll now. Magician's Melancholy gets its name back, and Illusionary Sputnik Night appears out of nowhere to take #174 (all results past it have their rank increased by 1).

Drake: Ditto. Mind if I edit it into the OP and credit you?

Uh, can somebody explain me who Mizunoeno Urashimanoko is? Google doesn't seem to find anything...

According to the option translations I got from pooshlmer, it's the alternate name for Urashima Tarou (mentioned in Cage in Lunatic Runagate 3).

Love this. Rika's one of my favourite PC98s.

I was kind of hoping Byakuren would be a bit higher. But at least Yuka came in 7th  :D
If you look at previous polls she is about as high as a new character gets ie Sanae and Satori were just slightly higher than her position in their first polling appearance.

Overall I think the rest of the ufo cast will be better placed next year if the fan community can figure out something more interesting to do with Ichirin, Murasa and Shou than to put them as loyal followers #1,#2 and #3 (with Shou also acting as new Ran).

How did Mima beat Wriggle? This poll is rigged.

Also kinda dissapointed that nobody else seems to play Yukari in soku.

Ok, ENTIRE list done. Looks like Battleship tugged some things out while I was translating (I noticed Pure Land Mandala got repeated twice, and Victory Demo was removed, and a bunch of #s changed) but there we go!

Woo typing out every piece of ZUN music ever.

That. Also the fact that Satori is above Koishi. :V

As expected. I'm not complaining though.

It seems Maribel is getting less and less popular every year ;_;

It's easier to vote for Yukari, who is more known in general, especially since she's a Windows character :V

Yep, awesome job. Been through it pretty thoroughly and I think everything's sorted now. I'll post some actual thoughts on the results after I've cleared my head.

...Fuck, I forgot to participate. DX
If you participated, you wouldn't have been eligible to mark yourself for doing a PoFV Lunatic 1cc  :V

Septette getting first is no surprise. the Grimoire of Alice FFFFF-

A rather large percentage of people seem to have 1cc'd UFO Lunatic, particularly when considering the sheer number of people "crying" about UFO in general. When looking at the actual number though, it seems to be about right (565 counts; including my own). SanaeB and ReimuA are the most commonly used / preferred Shot Types it would seem (
Spoiler:
expected
). MarisaB is at 4%, which is... actually pretty high.
* Baity shrugs

UFO reception is overall good. Almost hilariously ironic. Or perhaps we can assume that the Japanese players are better overall** or more tolerant of certain "features", to the extent that they enjoy playing it? Or maybe there's another factor to it? *coughmusicandhcaracterscough*

Spoiler:
I feel bad for submitting my StB results at 64 Scenes cleared i.e. <65

In other news, I'm feeling quite special today. And no, not that kind of special  :3
Scrap that I'm feeling :smug: today.

**It's known that on average they're better anyway.

"That" is too broad, particularly in this context.

Seems kind of weird...is SanaeA really used more than MarisA?
And while 3,21% 1cc'd UFO Lunatic, only 5,81% 1cc'd Hard?

And while 3,21% 1cc'd UFO Lunatic, only 5,81% 1cc'd Hard?
SanaeA doesn't have a crippling effect when bombing first off. Secondly, that pseudo-homing / lock-on is actually quite powerful. Third, the bomb is actually decent. Fourth if you really count it, 4.0px/frame vs 5.0px/frame unfocused movement.

And it's more 3.21+5.81 (i.e. 9.02%) of people can / have 1cc'd UFO hard. The 5.81% refers to the portion that have 1cc'd UFO Hard, but can't 1cc UFO Lunatic.

EDIT: The grammar seems to be all sorts of weird in the second paragraph, but it seems to be the best word choice I can use considering the implications of certain common words.
