That's what it's called on Hard and Lunatic, the mode most here seem to play, and you could call it that on Normal and Easy like how everyone calls Kanako's final spell VoWG even when talking about Normal and Easy (where it would be Mountain of Faith instead).

I was going to try a change of pace and 1cc EoSD Hard.  I screwed up big time on Patchy and somehow went down to 3 lives.
Got to Sakuya and died twice on her opener, but I captured Killing Doll (F YEAH).

Then I got to Remi.  Died on her opener, and used all 3 continues to get to Scarlet Gensokyo.  What's the result?

BTW, is there some trick I'm missing to the post-Nazrin big fairy spam and the last part before Syou? The first part feels like it should be easier than it is and even though I've found three ways to do the last part, every one of them relies on luck.

Just found a safespot in Mai's last Attack Phase. ...ugh. It makes the entire attack trivial. However, to make things more impressive, I'll only be using "half" the safespot. That makes 3 of her 4 attacks completely trivial (assuming that I use the spot). The lasers (which are much more worse than Kogasa's, due to the added kunai) are the only thing stopping me from a 100% 95% success rate of perfecting Mai.

In other news, a ND1B run of Stage 4 occurred. It would've been perfect, but I panicked.

EDIT: Ha, even without safespotting that attack is still quite easy. Now to perfect the entire stage (damn that one part) without dying / bombing, in addition to fighting Yuki (at some point later).

EDIT 2: ZUN stuck a collision box on Mai. To prevent the abuse of certain safespots I would imagine.

EDIT 3: And that's Lunatic Yuki and Mai perfected. Yuki is so much better for score  <3
Now I wonder if I can get a Perfect Stage 5 out before I give this USB away so I can upload the videos at a much more affordable price...

All but maybe two bombs were panicbombs (I autobomb Kogasa Train easy, but not normal O.o), and it wasn't until I watched the replay afterward that I realized that Byakuren (or is it just her last card?) is immune to bombs. :/

Had a great run of MS hard. My first death was on Yumeko, as I had no bombs by then. Furthermore I didn't die to any of her streaming phases! Did rather poor on Shinki, though.

On a side note: Even though she is noticably harder, I always aim for fighting against Yuki in stage 4. For once, her fight is much more fun. Other than that, Mai is probably the least likable character in the entire series.
