Hello everyone!
So I made a topic for a request and someone said as I must post here.
So I want create myself character sprites for danmakufu, but I have no ideas how I must beggin. I would like someone to learn to me how I can create my animations.

You just draw them like you do any drawing in a graphics making program like Paint.NET.
Or do you want to have a specific character's sprites?

Sorry for the Bumping (I beleive is also called Necro-Posting) but I'm here to request the next:


Well, lately I have been trying to code a Player, but it always ends up with the player not showing
even if in the previous try it did, and not shooting or being inmortal.

I'll request one player , mainly I'm asking for the code,
graphics and all will be provided by me:

Player Characteristics:

Speed = 3 Non-Focused, 2 Focused.

Unfocused Shot:
The Two Options are at the sides of the player, shooting right to the front of the player, whenever
an enemy gets within a 45? range, the Options bullets will follow the enemy. The Main
shoot is a 4 way shot, beign two shots forward and the other ones being angled.
(between 40? and 20? would be fine).

Focused Shot:
The Two Option Align in front of the player, losing it's homing capabilities but gaining a 5% more
power, the Main Shot also becomes much narrower too.

SpellCard (Holy Sign "Cleansing Rain"):
The BG Overlaps with the Current Stage BG, damaging all enemies for a short amount of time
(2-4 seconds), like SanaeA Bomb in UFO.

[Optional] Last Spell (Holy Sign "40 Days Deluge"):
Does More Damage and last 1.5 more times than the regular bomb.

Anyway, I need help. I need to learn more coding, but I kinda want to have a player script to use to get an idea of how I need to go about making new Danmakufu scripts.
And forget the usual "My characters are made of flesh" conventions. When I think lots of bullets, I think mecha. And, that's kind of what I'm trying to make. Just one problem...

I can't sprite or code as proficiently as  I need to.
What I CAN do is:

Make concept sketches and draw out detail by detail each shot, focus shot,, bomb, ETC.
It dosen't even have to be animated, really, and the shots don't have to be cleaned up, but I do want the player to look somewhat good.
If said game ever gets designed, I'll be sure to give credit (If you want it or not.)

Please, if you do feel like doing this, contact me over the board. I'll be available on weekends, Fridays, and after a week or so almost every day for awhile.
There will be six characters, at the moment I only need the one, later possibly a few more, I'll try to code my own soon enough however.
One only slightly related question... How do I make an enemy take up about... say... half te screen? I know it sounds weird for Touhou, but I need one to take up about two fifths of the entire screen on the enemy side. That... means sprites. Fortunately, it can be cut off at a certian point. Inthe mean-time, though, I'm not worring about those.

@Tsuchigumo: There's no limit to an enemy's size. :/ Just make the graphic rectangle and/or hitbox(es) really, really big. The screen is 384x448, in case you were wondering. PM me with specifics for the player(s)/sprites if you read this.

Hey people, hope everythings good! Im kinda in the need for a sprite for one of my bosses. (I cant sprite for my life...) Basically, if you look at my icon, you'll get idea of what im asking for.  Black Hat, Black robe, but ignore the purple things (mis-colored), and black umbrella (optional, since i rarly make him pull it out...) If someone could do me a favor and make me this sprite, id be very grateful! Thanks!

EDIT: Also ignore the grey rim around the hat...another mis-colorization. Sorry...and if your curious, the gray on his face is the shadow of the hat...woops. xD

Do you mean the circle graphic? If you need to make it grow and shrink you could use a sine function inside SetGraphicRect, assuming that you know some trigonometry.

Sorry for necrobumping (again), but I cannot make the next:

I want a rectangular effect object that kills the player if it's on the are it's drawn. I don't want to make a Objetc bullet 'cuz I won't be able to use the Graphic I'm making for it...

Are you going to have to "turn" (rotate) the effect object so that it's like Reimu's "NO SOLICITATIONS" spellcard?

alternatively,

if( Collision_Line_Circle(x1, y1, x2, y2, w, GetPlayerX, GetPlayerY, 1) ){ SetCollisionB(GetPlayerX, GetPlayerY, 1); }

where,
x1,y1 are the x and y coordinates of the start of your box (center start point)
x2,y2 are the x and y coordinates of the end of your box (center end point)
w is the width of your box

used SetCollisionB instead of ShootDownPlayer to allow the 'I' invincibility thing to still work...

Note: This also works for rotated boxes...

I would like to request a System like this:

At the start of the Script, the System has a CommonData Named "Rank" with a Value of 0. With Each Spellcard Captured (13 in total), The Value goes up by one, up to a limit of 13.

Now, drawing a Star-like meter on the left bottom corner of the Screen that fills up according to the current Value in the CommonData "Rank" (Like Ten Desires Bomb/Life Counter)

That should do it. If It isn't clear enough, PM me for more details.
