What started as a thread in CPMC has turned into a source of ideas for spellcards, somehow.

When I read the phrase "danmaku of the grass" in the thread originally, I thought of someone picking up a handful of grass and throwing it at someone. Thus, the green bullets move straight upwards as if they're being yanked out of the ground, flinging some dirt around in the process; this dirt eventually settles to the ground again. Then the grass hangs in the air for a moment and, not surprisingly, gets thrown at the player. I made two difficulty levels, arbitrarily naming them Easy and Hard because I'm not an expert judge of difficulty. Hard is displayed here.

Also, first spellcard I've made that isn't an attempt at cloning an existing one.

Well well, large orb objects that move in a somewhat circular pattern and leave several sets of bullet walls with gaps along the way, producing a waving pattern? That does seem familiar somehow...

Actually Walker, ZUN uses those bullets for delay effects you know. Lovely effect for my eyes. ( get's all wet and such :X )

That would be one of those white squares happening to pass in front of Nitori's face as you press the home/prntscrn button. Yeah, bad timing. That spellcard dispenser is such a ridiculous idea too.

So sorry for bumps, but I don't feel this warrants a new thread on my part:

Santa player. Oh how fun this is~ Yes, the Yellow Presents EXPLODE. The fact that they have a large wick sticking out of them should make that obvious, though.

Hmm... I have no idea what Santa's Bombs will act like. I already have names picked out for them, though:

Unfocused: Nice List "Present from Santa" (Take one good guess what the present will most likely do.)
Focused: Naughty List "Stocking Filled with Coal"

An image of a spell card I made that would suit Utsuho.
I call it Subterranean Solarflare.
The bullets, boss hex and backgroung graphics were made by me.

Edit: Got a video now. Thanks to Vappie for recording it.
Also, the background went haywire when I sent it to her. Just pretend that the backgound in the image is scrolling. :V

That looks amazing. I wish I could make/get textures for danmakufu that didn't suck.
