>"Ugh."
>Thankfully, the shopping doesn't take you terribly long to get through, if only due to self check-out keeping the lines manageable. You do have to spend a little while going through paint thinners looking for exactly the right one. But after thirty dollars of random junk, you are set to do something about the mana crystal.

Oh, I'm glad I did that, I totally forgot about the shit we swiped from Eileen. Also for some reason I never noticed we had that knife. I can think of a use for it right away!

> Let's take the stuff out of our cooler for a moment, use a Freeze talisman on the water inside, cut the ice back into manageable chunks with our knife, and put our goods back in. No need to buy new ice!
> Once that's done, take our time getting everything ready, and start work on shielding our mana crystal.

> Once that's done, take our time getting everything ready, and start work on shielding our mana crystal.

>You restore your cooler!
>You then set to work on making the shielding, pulping the dancing plant, mixing in the other ingredients, chanting spells over them over them at proper points. After some tens of minutes, you have a greenish paste. Applying it over the tube, you place a few more incantations over it, drying it like pain and sealing the effect. Now the gold crystal should be shielded from causal detection.

>You do what you can to identify the powder, with without your lab there isn't lot you can really do to identify it. You think it is a primed reagent, much as your wall stones and freeze talismans are. What it is primed to do, you cannot tell. There's something of an enchantment to it, but it is unfinished, needing to be filled, and you don't have what you need to determine what would require to activate. This said, you still curiously feel that it resonates well with you.
