Some drop 1ups too. It's a very rare drop.

PoFV Marisa lunatic 1cc....... stupid bug ate that replay as well despite again using the "workaround" which has suddenly stopped working.

Both Marisa and Mystia are very, very good at clearing bullets in front of them, and they're also very fast, which is a Good Thing. I hear Mystia simply can't hit the lunatic AI in match mode and that Marisa doesn't do much better, but for (regular human beings playing) story mode I can't think of two better characters*.

(*edit: apart from brokenaya and lolmedicine, of course, but these doesn't count)

While filling out sample pictures for the Touhou Wiki I tried to get in a good shot of Light Magic "Magic Milky Way" with the spell bonus intact.  The shot I was looking for would place the player between two curvy lasers with about two hitboxes' worth of room, but the stars kept scaring me away.  In the end I didn't get my dream shot and received a no-miss timeout of the spell.  Also, a surprise capture of Jeweled Pagoda "Radiant Treasure Gun" after not shooting for a wave and a half.  And Murasa's survival.

Now I'm left with a problem on SC73 because I uploaded the wrong image.  So I put up the right one, it shows the right picture but the thumbnail is still the same as SC69.  Upload again several minutes later, the thumbnail from the second upload changes to SC73 and the new upload has the same thumbnail for SC69.  Okay, revert to the second upload!  Nope, the new revision is stuck with the SC69 thumbnail and the third upload also changes thumbnails from SC69 to SC73.  I'm stumped.

Finally managed to capture all spell from atleast 1 extra.....Philosophy was the last spell I didn't capture, fortunately middle top=safespot :V

I also learned that in the process of proving my point, playing Touhou when you have the flu adds a whole new level of difficulty (read: stupid deaths that cost me both rounds).

FINALLY. My God I am so sick of SA Stage 4 now it's not even funny.

But anyway. Every spell card on every difficulty in SA captured, including every shot type's Satori cards. :V That just leaves UFO.

EDIT: Heh, finally managed to 1cc PoFV on Normal. Did it with Marisa, died twice to Aya and once to Shiki. Not counting the fighting games, that leaves PoDD and HRtP as the only Touhou games I've yet to 1cc on Normal. Come to think of it, I've never even 1cc'd HRtP on Easy. Huh. Maybe I should learn how to play it. :V

Interesting. I suspected the lasers would mess up the AI but the few matches I played in match mode to test it led me into believing that wasn't the case.... just horrible luck I guess.

Went into to Nue with 2 lives and no bombs (ALWAYS HAPPENS) and died at Undefined Darkness, I just realized that barring green UFO and rainbow UFO, she's REALLY easy...but her stage...

Heeeeee~? I thought since it's been nearly two days since playing Touhou my skills would have diminished, but as usual it just takes a bit to get my reflexes back. I tried running through UFO extra with Marisa A just to see if I could capture Rainbow UFO with her piercing lasers. I failed, then moved on to Nightmare of Heiankyou. Almost immediately something clicked and I figured out how to consistently dodge her first two phases. I didn't capture it though because I got lazor'd by the second phase beginning. ;>_> Game over'd from a clipdeath on Grudge Bow or however I call it.

Not one to be deterred, I tried again with Reimu A. I did embarrassingly on the stage and entered Nue with only 2 lives, but I made up for it by completely destroying her. Made my first capture of Undefined Darkness, died on Rainbow UFO (AUGH THIS CARD IS HARD), then with my newfound knowledge, captured Nightmare in Heiankyou. In other words, I captured two of the last spell cards left to capture in the game and beat Nue one death.

This means that Dipper Creeping Close and Rainbow UFOs are the only two spell cards left in UFO! :O

Cleared UFO on normal with all characters.

Thanks for the replay Baity, but it turned out that I couldn't follow your route due to Murasa moving to an unusual place at the beginning. I did note your use of going as far as possible even if it's just one centimeter more, so maybe that's how this happened the first time after watching it.

Catwalk Lunatic capture. 6 tries. How am i supposed to time this one out? Maybe i should just postpone that till' post-VoWG timeout. And that's not going to be anytime soon.

So far, the best i've been able to do is VoWG 3-deaths timeout.

EDIT: Okay. Why the fuck can't i capture the train? I think its Kogasa's most difficult spellcard. I always align myself with the blue wave at some point. Its so annoying. 22 attempts and no sucess so far but i think i'm almost there.

But how cool is this: I'm able to capture Parasol Star Memories consistenly. That's nice enough.

UFO Normal clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally.
Went pretty good, stage 1 and 2 perfect, some sillyness on 3. stage 4 nearly perfect.
Then failwiping on stage 5, but figured I could pretty much bombspam through it, then raging on stage 6, till I had a really good try where I captured a hard card causing me to have 2 lives and a bomb for the last 2 cards, which are pretty easy.

Tried EoSD Lunatic for fun.

Captured NOTHING in first 2 stages except for Moonlight Ray.
Captured China's midboss and Flower Dream Vine.
Captured Water Elf and Mercury Poison.

Captured all of Sakuya's nonspells - I usually die there on Hard.
Captured Eternal Meek. Mostly luck, but still.

Now, Remilia - out of like 30 attempts on all difficulties total, I've captured Scarlet Netherworld once and never Thousand Needle Mountain on Hard.
And here I go and capture it on Lunatic like nothing.

Almost captured Scarlet Gensokyo......around 1/10 left and I got walled. Sucks.

MS Hard, game overed on the phase before Devil's Recitation.  Incidentally, Byakuren's is a POOR imitator.  Shinki's version WRECKS me.

I need to a) stop dying in stupid places, like Alice (there's really no excuse), b) stop dying with 4 bombs in stock (REALLY not helping), and c) not suck at Yumeko (because I suck at Yumeko).

Still though, Hard 1cc is coming soon, methinks.  Then all that will be left is SoEW (hahaNO), SA, and UFO.

Pssh nah, I'm not quite up to the skill level needed for a UFO Lunatic 1cc, I haven't even 1cc'd SA Lunatic yet. Then again, I haven't really tried, so who knows. It's not really that bad compared to UFO, come to think of it.

Good luck with the Satori cards. I can guarantee that you will hate that stage even more than you do now by the end of it. :V

Some kind of update. Note that for SC#42, I was experimenting for the most part (i.e. testing hitboxes and stuff). So discount 2 attempts off that, for a total of 0/1.

Don't ask why "Complete Clarification" is so low, and don't ask why "VoPB" is so high  :V
Also, don't ask anything regarding an imperfect history of "Sinking Anchor". I already explained it; the same mistake happened twice.

This was quite long overdue, if I do say so myself:  PCB stage 5 lunatic perfect.  I went back to PCB after a long break with it and, lo and behold, my second attempt at the stage I got it.  My performance on the stage portion looked kind of sloppy since I hadn't practiced it for a while, but I definitely made up for it with Youmu.  I did cheese through her nonspells though... maybe one day I'll revisit the stage and fix that.

Not sure how much of an accomplishment this is, but I've finally shed myself of the hitbox patch for EoSD and, lo and behold, I don't need it anymore!

I tried a random run of EoSD Extra without the patch and despite my sleepiness I perfected the stage and captured 11 of the 13 cards. The two failures were stupid mistakes at Starbow Break and Q.E.D. mainly due to tiredness meaning I wasn't looking ahead far enough to read the bullets properly. :V
