Touhou Characters you dislike/hate?

This is merely a thread for listing characters you dislike/hate. You may give a reason, but you don't have to.

Lets begin with my least favorites:
Sanae (Replaced both Youmu and Sakuya as a playable characters for several games, acts like such a goody-good in some places, plus unoriginal concept)
Ichirin (Never liked Nuns, Has no purpose other than being a hitbox, Boring)
Rinnosuke (Merely just a gay stereotype, which I hate) (PLUS FUCK MANNOSUKE JOKES)

Tewi (Always bullying one of my favorite characters in Touhou series, being a general troll and almost never getting what she deserves. Let put it this way. Only time I have felt sorry for Tewi getting hurt fandom work is because how gross the character who did it was.)
Aya (I just find stuff about her annoying and fandom trying to pair her up with my waifu*shot*)

Mamizou (it'd be better if ZUN took Kasen instead. Mami has bad design, bad danmaku, decent theme but not Extra-tier)
Kogasa (very meh character, but cool umbrella)

For gameplay though... There's this one poltergeist musician who needs to have their soul bound to a Justin Bieber music disc for all eternity...

That I like: My Top 3 characters are Kasen Ibaraki, Hong Meiling and Yuyuko Saigyouji. However, there is a helluva lot more that deserve an honorable mention, like Marisa, Youmu, Suika, Eirin, Keine, Flandre, Patchie etc...
And really, there are only 2 characters that I don't like. One is fairly understandable, Rinnosuke. And the OTHER ONE... I'm afraid I'm gonna start yet another flamewar like I did in the other last 2 threads I posted, I think I might be Hina but a tip on who it is: It starts with Sakuya and ends with Izayoi.

Yukari, massive amounts of unchecked power, fear mongering. She's a danger to everyone... perhaps even herself. I'm not even sure if shes a character who I like to hate. *shiver*

I don't hate nor dislike any character. Really, Touhou is one of the few series where I actually like everyone.

I don't really dislike a lot of characters (and sure as hell hate none of them) at the moment, but there's quite a few I actually used to dislike.

Remilia - I thought she was a stupid brat in IN, but that's kind of her shtick and I don't mind her at all now
Eirin - her incredible arrogance in IN made me dislike her initially, but now she's alright
Koishi - I hated her concept and thought she was incredibly creepy, but then I realised that I love depressing characters with concepts I hate and she jumped up to my favourites. Interestingly enough the only character I liked before I encountered her in a game.
Yuuka - never knew why she was so popular and the fandom sadist interpretation just turned me off, but she's yet another character I've grown to tolerate
Yukari - I actually liked her quite a bit until I read SSiB,

where she is intentionally made out to look like the bad guy in the first half and never really recovered for me. I wasn't even sure whether to support Yukari or Toyohime in the forest scene because I just couldn't stand her (Yukari, that is). I really disliked how everything went her way all along and the fake anger near the end topped it off.

However, thanks to Rise of the Evening Star, I've gone to appreciate her a bit more again.
Yorihime - take a good guess. I still don't like her, but she's interesting and has a neat design.

This is more of a meta-dislike, but I seriously don't understand how this fandom likes Momiji and friends so much more than actually interesting characters like Kanako and Eirin. I mean, I'd really like it if ZUN gave Momiji some more screentime (and dialogue!), but until then, I feel she has no right to be liked that much.
I mean, even in polls, I'm inclined to rank my "disliked but interesting" characters higher than random stage 1 bosses I don't care about.

oh, there's also Kikuri who is fucking creepy and I don't like her

I used to hate Aya for being a pushy journalist and drawing wrong conclusions in her articles. However, I eventually realized that she's just an honest girl without any malicious intent.

I used to hate Sanae for forcing her way into playable character roster. However, she started making real miracles during gameplay (like capturing Flying Fantastica before I was good enough to do that with anyone else), and I also saw her character developing into a nice and likable personality.

But there is a character I hate to this day, without any chance of forgiveness. Rinnosuke. Not for being the only important male character. Not even for fanon depictions. I started hating him for his canon personality. He's too cocky with his ability, thinking that it's enough to run his shop when it clearly isn't. His lengthy monologues, going along pointless routes and reaching completely wrong conclusions, are not even funny given how seriously he act about them. But worst of all, he acts like a jerk towards girls. True, Reimu and Marisa are rather nonchalant with him. But that "Sword of Kirisame" case was unfair on his part, and his first meeting with Youmu was just plain evil. And lastly, who in their right mind would decline going to a flower viewing with the girls?

Tewi is best rabbit. Dark Tewi is even better rabbit.

Reimu Hakurei is by far the character I hate most in the entire Touhou series.  I hate her attitude towards the youkai. She is nasty, prejudice and selfish. She broke up the debate in Symposium of Post Mysticism and did so with anti-youkai speeches. She made it clear that she was doing it so that people would come to her shrine - therefore out of her own selfishness. She has clear prejudice against the youkai which I hate.

I have a strong dislike towards the lunarians. They kind of strike me as a dictatorship.

I don't like Aya very much. In fanon mainly because of touhou tag dream, and overall reporters and journalists are one of those jobs that immediatley gain my dislike. Much like bankers and politians.

I could say I dislike Marisa and Sanae but my reason for that is their stupidity which isn't really a good reason.

I used to really dislike Aya because of her common portrayals. Then I heard East New Sounds Titless Sights and that marked the first time a song has changed my opinion of a character. It would not be the last.

I don't really understand the Prismriver sisters. I can't tell them apart and am not aware of them having personalities. And they're a slightly disappointing end to one of the best stages in the series. I don't hate them, I just like them a lot less than most of the other characters.

Depending on the portrayal Reimu is basically a monster, which is just one of the reasons she's so great.

She's one of the most pro-youkai humans around. Her job as a shrine maiden is youkai extermination. She is actually not doing her job right, because she is too kind to youkai. Her shrine is infested with youkai because she is not harsh enough towards them. Youkai have no business setting up stands at her shrine. She should be kicking them out and not letting them set up business stands.

Might I suggest Inaba of Moon & Earth to get a better look at her personality? She's a troll only to a limited extent. If it goes too far, she will apologize and I think that happens once in the manga.
Reisen deserves most of the trolling from Tewi. This is mainly because Reisen is assuming a position she doesn't have. Mainly she is bossing around the rabbits, when she has no right to do so. Reisen somehow believes she is Tewi's boss, when neither Eirin nor Kaguya are Tewi's bosses. So, Reisen would order Tewi around as if she is her underling, when she isn't.

If we are talking about canon, Yukari's powers are limited. She's less dangerous than say Okuu, since Okuu is kind of stupid and doesn't know how to control her own attacks, so her shots might be too powerful causing lots of collateral damage.

Something about both of their designs bother me, and for some reason really annoying girls tend to cosplay them. I'm not sure why. Kinda ruins it for me, though.

I also hate Sanae, because her hair is hideous and people worship her for no discernible reason.

I wanted to jump in there and home run bat Reimu just for that reason alone. Although, we all know Reimu is a bit of a grump WHEN she wants to be.

I have no dislike towards any Touhou character at all.

I like Reisen due to the sole fact she's the reason I got into Touhou then I started to like the Eientei crew. Few years later into my Touhou addiction, every game that I played certain characters were added onto my like list however REISEN will always be my number one character even if people use a certain meme.

I don't really hate any characters, but I think Flandre and her theme are hideously overrated, along with EoSD in general. :V

Edit: I also can't stand all those batshit!Flandre / murderous!Flandre / psycho!Flandre interpretations, but that's another story for another day.

I can appreciate any lack of malice with which this thread was made, but history has shown that the Touhou fandom cannot handle this sort of discussion without eventually devolving into shitslinging, so unfortunately it's going to end here before that has a chance to happen.
