Big thanks to I have no name for the advice in the help thread, since I wound up basically just throwing resources at the last spell and I almost certainly wouldn't have had enough for the clear without that advice.

So glad I got that out of the way.

After attempting the Scoreing Challenge with the Netherworld Team on Easy, I was a bit rusty with the Scarlet Team, so I decided to play some easymodo to get back into it.

First game back with the Scarlets, and I clear Easy quite well, and beat my score that I got with Netherworld. Bear in mind I wasn't doing a score run.

Still, breaking the Billion Barricade? Yes please.

Shame about a couple of derpy deaths.

That was pretty good! I saw some interesting reactive dodges and defensive bombs there. Nice tactic at Shikigami, but I'm surprised you didn't use the safespot at Border of Life and Death, which pretty much just trivializes that attack.

Hm, it's a lot easier to collect items as Reimu-A, never used that shottype before. I noticed that you let some items drop after some of Yukari's spellcards; there's no need to be afraid of going to the top of the screen to collect them all because there's plenty of time (unlike Flandre). Aside from that, you're much better at scoring than I am (although that doesn't really need to be said because EVERYBODY is better at scoring than I am lol)

You can always choose to fight Eirin instead, unless it's your first clear IIRC.

Just now I pulled off my first PCB Hard mode 1cc.

I can't believe I just did that. After ages of failing at Youmu, Yuyuko, the Prismrivers even, I actually managed to pull off a somewhat-decent run of this game. I even captured Youmu and Yuyuko's final cards which made up for the bomb-spamming in the rest of the game (seriously 3 bombs to Deadly Dance, 2 bombs to Live Poltergeist and I wasn't even in danger the first time, 2 bombs to Flowery Soul). Somehow I cleared with 2 lives in stock. I'm really glad this is done.
edit: I just realised I no-deathed Youmu in that run. That's even better.
edit2: It says that I didn't clear when you click the link but that was just a mistake on my part. I don't upload replays very often.

One of which was "And Then There Will Be None?"

Bad enough to be an accomplishment, IMO! It /was/ 4:30 AM...

Also, I captured Mystia and Wriggle's Last Words, and Keine Hakutaku's 3rd spell...
And I captured Kanako's semifinal spell (I never remember its name) in Easy!
I'm only Easy/Normal so this make sme happy, since it's harder than Normal's~~~

Nice, I need more than the 2 lives a continue gives to survive Stage 6 hard, it took 3 lives and a bomb to get through Byakuren with SanaeB-when 5 lives wasn't enough once.

I think she meant that she bombed during the stage. (I'm not sure though.)
As for savestates, you can do them in the first 5 Touhou games, I believe.

Try Hourglass.
I haven't gotten it to work, but one of the games it was confirmed to work with was PCB.

Seriously, I knew Mokou wasn't hard. Thing is, her spells are either memorization, "lolhitboxes" or outright not fun. I just sat down today and practiced spells for like three hours, then cleared the stage on my first 'try' since forever. Also captured Hourai Doll on my first time seeing/doing the spell. Guess that's why it's not a very good spell?

Koishi and Yukari remain. I just really don't feel like doing Yukari so I'm belaying it much like I did with Mokou.

'grats on the Mokou victory. She can be a pretty brutal one at times.

As for Yukari, you can most certainly beat her. The label of "phantasm boss" really doesn't mean much; it's not like she's harder than any other extra boss - she just has an extra spell card.

Donut, you certainly got a lot more patience than I do on certain bosses, so major props for that. As for Lepetit, a UFO Lunatic 1cc is always neat. Especially that LFS capture. My god, what did LFS do to me?
It would have been nice to have some ability to fight Byakuren, but figured I'd be able to strong-arm my way through that battle, and I guess I was right. I used ReimuA for this, because I just can't get used to Sanae's faster movement. Now only Ten Desires remains and I will have 1cced every Windows game. I've also got MS and LLS done, so maybe I'll turn to those first three games as well, just to say I've got everything 1cced.

(It's funny how you can beat my entire score in stage 6 alone.)
