*again even though this is the first one I've actually made so, yeh*
So yeah just post ideas for new touhou characters below, and since i'm not a complete sexist it can be boy or girl :3

Right, now Stage 1 boss.

Name: Ayano Watanabe
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Ability: Able to make a second manifestation of herself.

Appearance:
Hair: Short platinum-blonde hair.
Eyes: Platinum blue.
Body: Wears an outfit similar to a school-girl's summer uniform, colored black with yellow trims on it. and black high heels with gold socks.
Race: Ikiryo
Racial Traits: Holds a blue flame (her manifestation in stored form)
Hat: A bow tieing her hair in a ponytail with a ying yang pattern printed on it.

Backstory: Coming home from school one day, she made an unfortunate run in with the heroines. Suspicious about the events currently going on they decide to 'Interrogate' her, she fights valiently but is beaten to submission even though she had no idea what was going on.

Motives: Going home from school trying not to get her butt kicked by a Miko, a Witch, ANOTHER Miko and a Ghost-Human person, thing.

Backstory (Optional): A fearsome armor built to defend one's life and ward off minor threats, passed down through generations of a noble yet discreet(They never knew...until later) family. She lived a good life of fighting battles, taking blows and protecting the household. But one night, on it's 100th birthday, it was under a brutal raid. Before her eyes her beloved owner and his family was murdered. Everything treasured was robbed and ransacked. Before the human/youkai/whatever bandits can get away one of them tried to kill a small girl cowering in the corner of the hallway, near the front door with a slow and painful slice through her arm. Before they finish her off, a worn-out suit of armor suddenly busted through the hallway and, within seconds, ravaged them to death. The girl was frightened but the armor spoke saying "I am now your loyal servant." She was told to bring her to a nearby healer(but actually there were none), before she can even find one the girl bled out to death. Lost its purpose she 'fainted' dropping the girl in front of her. By the time the corpse was found all there was is an imprint of a heavy suit of armor. She looked for a purpose, and there her adventure began. She began wanting a purpose and proceeded to defend anything that seems valuable to her eyes. And once that valuable dies/is destroyed, her faith(in herself?) is lost and she faints temporarily...only to wake up later and begin finding a new 'lord'.
Motives (If any): Serve whoever she's guarding....or find a new one if the current one's dead.

Name: Chizuko Ituo

Gender: Female
Ability: To tempt humans into wickedness

Appearance:
Hair: Very long bluish hair
Eyes: White
Body: Short stature and is wearing a Yukata which is cut short and the bottom, with a red floral pattern on it
Race: Amano-jaku
Racial Traits: Short Stature, Bad Temper, has a nasty habit of eating people if there name resembles fruit ._. yeh don't ask.
Hat: Her hair is tied in pigtails with wired fabrics.

Backstory: On their way to the Sanzu River to find clues to the disappearance of Yuyuko the heroines run into Chizuko. Trying to impede the heroines progress and tries to make them do bad things, like trying to make Marisa turn on the heroines and attack them. The unique thing about hr battle is that her spellcards cause her to manipulate the heroines you never chose to attack you.

Motives: Impeding the heroines progress, only to be beaten down and interrogated, finally information got sussed out of her, with her running away crying.

Stage 3 Boss

Name: Yui Maeda
Age: 400
Gender: Female
Ability: The ability to meld into objects

Appearance:
Hair: Long silvery black hair
Eyes: Purple
Body: Wears a furisode, although half of her body is merged to a Shinto gate. The furisode is black with a white floral pattern.
Race: Otoroshi
Racial Traits: Long hair.
Hat: Floral Hairpin.

Backstory: After the heroines beat up Chizuko, they are informed of a mysterious new shrine that appeared in Muenzuka. Decicding to check it out, the heroines are once again stopped by a youkai, this one being Yui. she attempts to halt the heroines progress but is beat down and the gat she is mrged to destroyed, causing her to retreat into the ground.

Motives: Gatekeeper of the Arata Shrine. Stops intruders from coming in.

Name: Eliana Ester
Age: 85
Gender: Female
Ability: Able to make portals to 'His Dimension' (''His'' is the final boss)

Appearance:
Hair: Spring green
Eyes: Grey
Body: Wears a white blouse and has a black waistcoat covering it which has a cloud pattern on it, wears a mini skirt which is also black with a cloud patter on it, wears kneesocks and black ballet shoes.
Race: Magician
Racial Traits: None
Hat: Black witches hat with a cloud clip on it, and glasses

Backstory: Transported the heroines into the dimension where ''He'' was hiding, thinking they were Yui coming to report, knowing her mistake when Yui comes out the ground and tells her what happened. Infuriated they both attack the heroines with them both ultimatley failing, the heroines continue their journey.

Motives: Hides the True Arata Shrine from intruders, kind of a ditz.

Stage 5 Boss (almost and Final and EXTRA)

Name: Shiori Fujimaki
Age: (Suggested to be older then Miko)
Gender: Female
Ability: The power to summon tempests, Can cause premature deaths.

Appearance:
Hair: Blood-stained white, long
Eyes: White
Body: A pure grey, and blood-stained Junihitone with spiral patterns on it, with black inside coat. Ghost tails hang from the bottom, is surrounded by child shaped spirits .
Race: Ghost
Racial Traits: Ghost tails, pale and surrounded by child-like spirits.
Hat: Junihitone Hairpiece, Completley black and has a blood stain on it.

Backstory: When they enter the shrine they find it much bigger on the inside than out, they run into Shiori when nearing the entrance to the Garden of Eden. She attempts to kill the heroines and give their souls as offerings to her 'Master' but is defeated and she fades away, leaving a note thay says,

''Help! I'm in the Garden'' Signed Y-

The heroines rush into the garden quickly.

Motives: Lives in the Arata Shrine, The one who causes newborns to die.

Final Boss (AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Name: Kamenosuko no Arata
Age: 16 (When he died) 5 (The years he's been a spirit)
Gender: Male (GASP)
Ability: The power to absorb spirits, Can breathe life into a corpse with said absorbed spirits, or use them to strengthen him.

Appearance:
Hair: Short Platinum Brown
Eyes: Same colour
Body: Wears an outfit similar to Yuyuko but is changed to be more manly (MANLY MAN) and is very, VERY light shade of pink with lotus ddesigns on it, has no hat though.
Race: Ghost
Racial Traits: Has spirits surrounding him, Can split into Seven Spirits
Hat: NEIN

Backstory: Is the reason behind Yuyuko's disappearance, He attempts to absorb Yuyuko so he can bring himself back to life (what an ass, and I created him :/) but the heroines arrive in time in attempt to stop him but they appear to late as Yuyuko has already been absorbed, But before he brings himself to life, He wants to see what his new strength can do!

Motives: Kinaps Yuyuko and attempts to use her as a Catalyst to his resurrection.

Wow that's somewhat OP, compared to mine which the only way to defeat it is to go softer and softer up to the point a feather can hit harder, then the 'glass will shatter'.

Also his power has a MASSIVE blindspot where each attack he does actually drains his strength and it's only in his ATTACK, defense doesn't change at all, h's a glass cannon that damages himself each time he attacks. Also for every soul he absorbs he loses part of his self control so he NEEDS to completley drain spirits with his attacks other ther will be like 60 people trying to control him at once.

Ability: The power to cause anything, including air to ignite (also herself but she doesn't care o_O)

Appearance:
Hair: Extremley long, Mokou colour (yeh we refrencin' actual Touhous now )
Eyes: Same colour but lighter
Body: Wears a full wedding kimono with the bottom half completley ingulfed in a whitish-purplish fire.
Race: Akurojin-no-hi
Racial Traits: Is covered in ghostly fire
Hat: Wedding kimono hat

Backstory: After Arata's defeat the heroines ask Eliana if they could leave, and she said only if they find the spirit of a girl who died in this realm and bring her to Arata, then they would be able to go home and have some tea (yum). The heroes go and search for her in the nearby village and see that the whole village is completley ingulfed in fire, Izanami then apeears and opens with this line,

''Oooo... I'm a GHOST! *scary ghost noises*''

After the heroines tell her what they were sent to do and she isn't to pleased about, so she challenges them to a fight that lasts a LONG time and eventually Izanami is defeated but she then decides to burn a hole in the dimension to releases the heroines just out of goodwill (d'aawwww)

Body: Wears a black hooded vest (hood is put down) with a zipper (unzipped), dark purple shirt underneath. Wears a black three-quarters pants *gasp no skirt* and bare feet.
Race: Youkai
Racial Traits (if any):
Hat (MUST!!!, lol jokes but all touhous have hats ): see hood, she doesn't wear it tough.

Backstory (Optional): Encounters the heroine in a dark forrest. The heroine seems lost and Miki reveals that she hid the exit by manipulating shadows to create illusions. Her danmaku focus on creating one or more copies of herself, then firing bullets from all of them. Only the ones shot by herself can hit the heroine, so she'll be wise to notice where the bullets came from.
Motives (If any): This is the first time she encountered a human. After watching her from a distance she decides to show up and test her strength. After the battle she reveals she has no ill intentions and guides the heroine out of the forrest.

Name: Yokusei suru

Title: Repressed Demon

Species: Youkai

Ability: Manipulation of the Forgotten

Location: Roams Gensokyo

Age: Unknown, but very old.

Appearance: Looks like a young boy around the age of 14, with brown hair and black eyes. Seriously. He has the whites of his eyes, but his pupils and his irises are pitch black. He wears a pair of glasses attached to a chain around his neck, and he wears a black old style news boy hat. Like the one ZUN wears. He wears white robes with long, loose sleeves, and he doesn't have legs, he has a ghost tail sort of like Mim?. The robe is written over in Kanjii of all different colors and styles, but every time you look away, the characters change. He wears a green backpack and carries inside a book.

Backstory: Yokusei is a youkai, nobody is sure what kind, who roams Gensokyo. You know how things in Gensokyo operate on the principle that if someone stops believing in something, it ends up there? Well, following that same logic, when someone forgets about something, it disappears entirely. Yokusei roams Gensokyo, using his manipulation of the forgotten to restore anything he finds that has been forgotten. He even has the power to drag forgotten things across the Border. Unfortunately, he's one of those people who thinks the best of everyone, and he'll revive anything he comes across, be it good or evil. Despite this, he displays common sense remarkable for Gensokyo. He's an unwitting chess master of the Touhou games, as he had a hand in a lot of things. He caused the events of Ten Desires by bringing the Mausoleum to Gensokyo after everyone forgot about it. He revived the Palanquin Ship. He's basically meant to star in a game where the PC-98 cast comes back, and Reimu, Marisa, Yuuka and the others have to fight off the angry mob that wants them dead while trying to find out who did it. He's essentially a living plot device. Here's how his game goes.

Reimu hears someone sweeping in the shrine, and being Reimu, she just has to go check it out. So, she walks into the shrine, and surprise! It's Ruukoto. Reimu freaks out because she forgot who Ruukoto was, and long story short, she ends up shooting her maid's nuclear core, causing an explosion that destroys the Hakurei Shrine. Cue super-pissed off Genjii, who Reimu begins shooting. As usual. Reimu embarks on a quest to find the source of these strange people, by shooting a bunch of people who all seem vaguely familiar. Final Boss?  PC-98 Marisa. Yokusei accidentally reverted her to her old ways, and after fighting through Yokusei, Reimu has to fight her.

Marisa is minding her own business in her house one day, when she's suddenly attacked by a bunch of vines. She fights them off, and fight her way through the vines to find the source her old Tsuchinoko. She kills it, but gets attacked by a strange missile, and her house is blown up. She embarks on a quest to go beat a bunch of people of up to vent her anger. Her final mid-boss? PC-98 Reimu. Yokusei accidentally reverted her to her old ways, and now she wants to beat up Marisa. Marisa fought her way through Yokusei and now she has to fight her.

Yuuka is returning to her fields after a long day of...doing whatever it is Yuukas do. Along the way she's attacked by several characters from Lotus Land Story. She arrives at her field, and she's attacked by Kurumi. She forces her way past her and is confronted by Elly, who is very angry about being forgotten. Then she find some creepy guy in her fields sniffing the flowers. She tries to kill him, but then Mugetsu and Gengetsu stop her. By the time she's through with them, he's long gone.

Extra Stage? Extra Midboss is Mim?. Extra Boss is Rin Satsuki. Yokusei will really revive anyone.

Appearance: A belly dancer attire, has a pink bra and a transparent yellow selendang, wrapped around her belly. She has a circlet full of jewel wrapped around her head, and has diamond necklace around her neck, seems to wear bellydancer pants, but unknown since she doesnt show her leg, because half part of her body hides in lamp and pink smoke. Hair is black tied in ponytail. Lamp is a usual wishing lamp, but has extra pink colour.
Backstory: She is a heartless Djinn, who didn't want to fulfill any types of wish the holder of her lamp wants. INstead if someone gets her the lamp, she wants the holder to have sacrificie, the sacrifice is something that is important to the holder's. If the holder didn't want to give something important, she will grant the wish and later kills the holderIf the holder give something important to her, she will still kills him/her.She used to be a normal kind of jinny, granting any wishes. But a certain wish causes her to snap, becoming her a heartless Djinn. Now everyone calls her the Dangerous wishing lamp. Even though she kills the holder, but if the holder manages to beat her she will eternally becomes the servant of the holder, but of course no one ever defeated her... until someone...

I've decided to have a little bit of fun and make a joke character, you can take her seriously if you want. cuz if you don't, she'll most likely stab you :/

Body: She's around 4'11 with around B-C cup size (mentioning this will get you stabbed.) wears a T-Shirt with a Star on it, wears dungarees (making fun of this will get you stabbed) with blood stains on them, wears high-heeled boots. Has a VERY large machete with a shark teeth pattern on it.

Racial Traits: Very short temper, like her size (mentioning- *stab*)
Hat: Headphones with stars on each headphone.

I don't have a backstory, but here's a list of things that she will stab you for

Appearance:

Hair: short, messy brown hair
Eyes: Light brown, with usually a laid back expression
Body: loli-sized, wears a badass ragged brown scarf/cloak over a white embroidered skirt. wears laced socks and black mary jane shoes.
Race: Cockroach youkai
Racial Traits (if any): Cockroach feelers on her head, pretty much like Wriggle.
Hat: goggles on head (look like aviator goggles, but are from an old radiation-proofing suit)

Backstory (Optional): What to say? A cockroach that lived over a century. Stuff like this isn't even supposed to happen, but who actually goes and burns the trash in Gensokyo? While the Tengu were quickly to point to the mess at Marisa's home as the culprit, the truth is that the witch's house isn't old enough to produce an youkai (but when it is, the results will be legion!)

Motives (If any): No particular motives right now. Wants to munch on some delicious human, but finds easier to scavenge. Unlike the popular perception of cockroaches, Masshiro is very clean and is almost always bathing or cleaning herself. She's clean even when hides in the trashcan!

Personality: She tries to put a calm and laid back image, but she's only a kid.

Relationships:
Wriggle: "Boss" - Wriggle holds sway over the insects, and this includes Masshiro. The firefly glady shown the cockroach girl to everybody, just to make plenty clear that Wriggle is not a cockroach at all! Masshiro kind of resents that, but she's easy going.
The rest of Team 9: Playmates. Cirno and Rumia aren't picky about their company AT ALL. Mystia kind of is, and initially dislikes Masshiro. They all warm up to each other and end being friends, however.
Nazrin: Rats and cockroaches are many times forced to live together. Nazrin has been showing the ropes to Masshiro, out of goodness (because shes's a good buddhist) and also because having an ally that can move unseen is never a bad idea (because she's Nazrin).
Mostly everybody else: Eeeek! A cockroach! kill it! kill it!

Hair: Black, chin-length hair with a long braid reaching down her back.
Height: 5'1
Special Ability: Gnosis Form(Explained later)
Weapons: Two Gnosis Daggers, Hidden Incendium Throwing Knives

Backstory: Too long and complicated to explain right now.
Motive: On a mission to find a way to safe someone's life in her dimension.

Gnosis Form: Hitori has the ability to become ethereal. While in Gnosis Form, Hitori can phase through physical objects. She is immune to all physical attacks while in Gnosis Form, but she becomes extremely vulnerable to energy based attacks.

In order for physical attacks to connect, the attacker must enter Gnosis Form by engulfing themselves in Hitori's phantasmal essence. While both combatants are in Gnosis Form, the attacker can attack Hitori with physical attacks.

Hitori can hide in other people's bodies while in Gnosis Form to spy on them.

Her boss battle will revolve around her cunning traps and surprise attacks. Shifting in and out of Gnosis Form will be the key to surviving her attacks.

Eyes: Jade green but her eye color changes to the same as whomever's power she is copying.
Body: Skiny, large breasts.
Race: Mirror Youkai (Formerly Human)
Racial Traits (if any): Already mentioned eyes, but also if the power she is copying needs a body part that is copyied as well. (like Okuu's arm cannon)
Hat (MUST!!!, lol jokes but all touhous have hats ): No hat but has ribbons like Reimu

Backstory (Optional): Hayley used to be a human in the regular world, happy go lucky, just gettng started, oh did i mention she was a guy back then? Well (S)he was friends with two other poeple (Who will be mentioned later) And one night they were all taken to Gensokyo, somehow they had changed into girls and they all had powers now. Hayley adapted pretty well to being a girl and just likes to play around Gensokyo battling people and learning new spells.

Backstory (Optional): Same backstory as Hayley but now we add more. When the group of three got to Gensokyo, Caren went out to find shelter and came across an old abandoned mansion. She turned that into the groups of threes house and let everybody, except Hayley stay inside, she sleeps in the huge tree outside of the house.

Backstory: Zen lives in an abandon boathouse near Youkai Mountain. He moved in atleast 7 years ago, after the Scarlet Mist incident. he is sometimes spoted near Hakurei Shrine donateing 10 mon. He says that he owe Reimu 1,000,000 mon and that he will pay 10 mon each day. Zen has a really huge temper which sometimes scare the local youkai, he is right now trying to find some excuse to terrorize the Moriya Shrine ever since Sanae nearly blew up his house. Zen has a Cursed Pickaxe that whoever holds it, becomes a maniac wanting for heads to chop off. Zen's sword is called Toiyou Daija which contains a sprit of a serpent that represents the sun.


Motives: One day, Zen was walking to the Human Village when he spotted Reimu and Marisa. He hides in the branches of a tree and pops out saying "Oi!". Marisa droped somekind of potion she was carrying and spilled on Reimu. Reimu turned into a monster and jumped away. Zen, who was responsibile, went out to get Reimu back.

Hair: Long, purple with red streaks at the ends, she has two long antennae

Body: Very short, around 2 feet, Wears a blue dress decorated with red circles and has a red ribbon around her neck,. Her wings are similars to those of a death fairy, purple with red in the ends.

Location: Youkai mountain's watterfall, though she is often seen roaming the forest of magic.

Backstory: She always wanted to be an army fairy like Lili Black, or at least be awesome like <cirno, who she secretly admires for some reason. She finally managed to get a job defending the moriya shrine, but ended making all the onbashiras fall on top of it, destroying the most part of it...
She was fired, and now looks for something useful to do.

Her power may sound strong, but it doesn't have any practical uses in battle, cause it's completely unconscious, and she lacks danmaku skills. She is terribly scared of the shrine maiden and the psycho witch.

Backstory (Optional): Coming from the outside world, Sir Darby was a rich industrialist whose external personality can be described as jolly, peaceful and fun-loving. However, this only hides his corrupt morals, hypocrisy and greedy disposition, as he is willing to exploit everything, from people to nature, just for profit and gain.

Motives (If any): To expand his corporation into Gensokyo and establish a fully operational steel mill near the human village.
