Hello, I was wondering if anyone plays and knows any least information on Touhoumon for the 4th generation (Diamond and Pearl).

I find Touhoumon to be amazingly great if this topic is in the wrong section please move it .

I'm afraid that as far as I know, all the Touhoumon hacks at the moment are based on the 3rd generation.

Touhoumon is a lot of fun, that's for sure. What's your favourite version?

Some guy on Poosh was working on small-scale hacks, but afaik it didn't go anywhere and it still wouldn't be very popular, since pretty much anything you would need for Touhoumon can be done in FR.

Speaking of which, are there actually builds that are hailed as "official"? I've always put off playing Touhoumon much because there are so many individual builds and separate hacks.

Touhou Puppet Play is usually hailed as the offficial version, but I'm not sure if any version of it has been translated into English (the newest one, version 1.8 isn't, at least). The Japanese wiki is here: http://www39.atwiki.jp/touhoukeitai/pages/778.html

I've beaten the Elite 4 round 1 on Tohoumon Merry, but haven't bothered with E4R2 or Trainer's tower.
Currently playing Touhoumon Another World, which is still incomplete, and it's uh, freaking hard.

Not 'Insane Version'-hard I hope? I've quite wanted to try Another World out, but I'd rather wait until it's finished. Is it good otherwise?

After playing 1.8, it is hard for me to go back to previous iterations. Perhaps I just got spoiled on the newer sprites and the larger puppet collection.

I had to postpone my adventures through Insane, though. Managed to get to Mt. Moon before the rage completely took over. "Not for the feint of heart" is totally correct.

How does Insane compare to Lunatic? I like the Lunatic difficulty because if you actually know what you're doing you don't have to grind forever (Red got owned by my Baton Pass lol). The Gensokyo Hall was strangely easy though.

Haven't tried Lunatic. But Insane is more than just an increase in the difficulty and frequency of the fights. The maps have been totally redesigned to cause as much RAGE as possible. But hey, you'll finally have more uses for Flash! (once you get it...)

IMO the version with the most fulfilling content is Aqua+Yui. Sorry Touhoumon Insane i just don't have the patience for you. :(

I actually enjoy Touhoumon World Link a lot more.
Insane version is also good too.

World Link is fun. Though I had a very outdated version a few months back so I had no idea how to get to that Java region. orz Well I still don't know how to do it now but I haven't reached the first gym yet.

I tried AnjiruSensei's Scarlet Emerald and it kicked my ass so hard... I was forever stuck at the 5th gym. FOREVER. STUCK.

It is actually quite good the Java Region, makes training easier and has a lot of trainers.

Nor to mention the special surprise at the end.
