You think we can get the Mansion the turn after building something that takes 425 Wood?
We can get 800 wood in one turn from Gems to Wood, without factoring in the 200 we produce normally :3

Edit:Okay, I bothered to look at the numbers, yes we can build the Mansion next turn.

Oh yeah, I guess we could use the gems we already have. >_> I was thinking in terms of 20 to create the gem followed by 5 to transmute it.

Here's hoping nothing costs an egregious amount of gems after we build it, then.

We make more then twice as many gems per turn as we can actually transmute, anyway. And we'll be able to see exactly what remaining buildings would cost gems, anyway :3

Yuki glanced down at the numbers like the might suddenly change, but they didn't.  Oh well, they had plenty of other assets.  If nothing else they could sell stuff to get into the black easily.  No reason to worry too much.

"What's done is done.  You two go help Alouette and Elspeth with the preparations.  We can fix this easily at least," the two bowed apologetically then headed out.

"Um, Miss Yuki, does that mean Master Patchouli will be arriving soon?" Elle asked quietly.

Yuki blinked then frowned again.  She didn't like being reminded Elle was effectively on loan, but that was something Yuki would have to deal with eventually.  Neither Yuki or Mai was Elle's true master, so Elle would always be subservient to Patchouli's desires first.

"Hey, Elle.  Would you like to be under my command instead of Patchouli's?" Yuki asked.

Elle winced.  "Please don't ask me loyalty questions Miss Yuki.  It will only hurt someone."  She looked away.  "Still while I like Master Patchouli, I wouldn't be hurt if she gave you my contract."

Yuki smiled.  "Fair enough."

The party was a grand mess.

Yuki and Mai both found themselves instantly disliking Remilia.  Fortunately her maid seemed to be able to keep her in line.

Unfortunately Lady Shinki dropped by suddenly, and there was a sudden excess of head maids in the mansion.  Fortunately Sakuya seemed to realize she was off duty, and Alouette wasn't stupid enough to start something.  Even more fortunately, Shiki had brought food as a gift, so the extra guests didn't blow the budget even further.

Patchouli was almost a relief to deal with after that, though Yuki still occationally felt jealous when Elle got wide eyed around her real master.  Then again it must be hard to be the familiar of a distant mage when all your sisters were working for your boss.  Yuki made a note to keep a friendly eye on the office devil.

The early research seemed to actually bring a smile to Patchouli's face, and she eagerly accepted another year of Elle's time for another research book.

And by then the Mansion should be all finished.
Event:Patchy picked up her work and extended her lease of Elle.  Also you went into debt.
Hosting cost $353.  The devils were all kept busy by your guests.  +5 morale.
This weeks work caused 6 stress.
Being in debt causes 9 stress.
Being in debt causes you to lose 20 morale

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+5 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.   Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.
Forge Tool - Ferra.  Once per devil spend $1000 and 5 gems to gain a level.
Support - Elmina.  By using her action one special action automatically succeeds.
Fight Crime - Mai.  This weeks event is canceled and reduces notoriety.  Mai and Yuki may be injured.

I think for our next focus, we should get more money because these levels are expensive and can be used to increase gem production.

Still waiting for alternate build order, or market orders.  Remember the action order is Buy - Build - Research - Cast - Special -Event.  Even working off a 50% down payment you don't have enough wood to start the mansion.

Relizing that line of thought would get her nowhere she sighed and rang a bell.  Alouette quickly responded.  "Alouette, please get our guest a room next to Eskarina."

She turned back to the youkai scientist.  "Eskarina is responsible for that craime against, er, genetic alteration.  Feel free to ask her questions in her spare time."

Rikako nodded.  "I'll do my best to keep my research out of your way."

Yuki yawned as she left the lab.  She really shouldn't do all nighters, but she'd finally gotten a breakthrough in creating the Earth Mastery crystal and she didn't want to lose it.

As she entered the hallway Rikako exited on of the rooms.  "Ah, Good morning," the scientist said.

"Hrm... More goodnight for me.  I've gotta crash," Yuki replied.

Rikako smiled.  "I hope your research profited from your efforts then."

"Yeah, it did thanks."  Yuki yawned again as the visitor waved and moved into the lab.

The magician was halfway down the hallway when she realized that Rikako actually had the room across the way.  The scientist had just come out of Eskarina's room.

Yuki shook her head.  She didn't want to know.  She was going to sleep and forget about it.
Event:Rikako visited.
Gained temp +30 research.
This weeks work caused 0 stress.

Demonic Summoning - 50 mana - +1 special action.  Activated devils can act again.
Empower Gem - 1 gem 100 mana - Gives you 50 mana to use later.
Money Tree - 1 gem, 5 mana - Ads 5 income
Planar Portal - 10 gems 50 mana or 15 gems 100 mana - Creates a portal to a location inside/outside of Makai.

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+5 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.   Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.
Forge Tool - Ferra.  Once per devil spend $1000 and 5 gems to gain a level.
Support - Elmina.  By using her action one special action automatically succeeds.
Fight Crime - Mai.  This weeks event is canceled and reduces notoriety.  Mai and Yuki may be injured.
