You finish the short journey home and open the door for Mokou to see the much larger entrance room. She unceremoniously dumps Aya to the ground next to her as she begins to slowly explore, whistling in appreciation once or twice.

"Damn, Keine... you've moved up a notch! Should I start callin' ya Keine-hime now?" she says, smirking at you. "But seriously, so many bedrooms, and an actual study... and that one room, I can't quite figure out what it is... this one," she indicates the reinforced empty room. "What's it for?"

Mokou grins, walking over and picking up Aya again. "Well, in she goes!" the immortal says as she roughly tosses Aya into the chamber. Aya lands with a rather loud thump, and glares at you a bit more. Except now she's starting to tear up a bit.

"Sure thing, Keine," Mokou says as she begins to ascend the stairs. "Is there any difference between 'em though?"

Aside from intense pain or distress, the bond is too new to transmit emotions well. At least you can tell she's not in any intense pain or distress.

Well, you don't quite DRAG Mokou down to the kitchen - you do push her a bit, though. She marvels a bit at the greatly expanded kitchen, checking out individual cupboards and cabinets. "Daaaaamn, Keine," she finally exclaims, "you've got enough to feed the whole Devil Mansion here! And that's gotta be a ton of spices!"

Mokou grins. "Hell, why not? I know some good ways to get her to swallow 'em too, so it should be easy." After a moment, she backsteps with "Er, don't ask why." She steps forward and grabs a random jar, shaking it a bit. Opening it up, the spice itself looks dark red and dense. The outside of the jar says "Habaneirou." Mokou stares at it for a moment before looking at you. "You know what this 'habaneirou' stuff is?"

You and Mokou check the cupboard more and find a few more spices you don't recognize. You really only know what they're called because Patchouli handily put katakana on the jars.

You find:

Horseradish
Dill
Oregano
Cumin

With these and the habaneirou spices, you think you're ready.

In the chamber, you find that Aya has maneuvered herself into a sitting position - her hands are still tied together and to her feet, so it can't be comfortable, but you suppose it works. She gives you that same glare from earlier.

You attempt a good Yuuka-esque smile, but seeing as you're not Yuuka, you can't quite pull it off like she does.

Mokou steps forward, jar and spoon in her left hand, as she unties Aya's gag with her right. Aya starts yelling almost before the gag comes off.

"Lord Tenma's going to have your head on a pole for this! You have no idea what you-- mmngh!" You suppose it would be rather difficult for Aya to continue ranting with a spoonful of horseradish in her mouth. Mokou interestedly watches as her face slowly turns a wonderful shade of scarlet. She begins to yell as Shiku calmly closes the door behind you... presumably to stop Neneru from watching. "Mmngh ow hot what the hell!? Blegh!" Aya manages to spit out the spoon, but you can tell from her face that the taste is still there.

(As a side note, have you ever had a spoonful of just a spice? It's horrid.)
