> Land and begin our ascent up the mountain path toward the Moriya Shrine.

>You settle down on the path, and start into the forest.
>The boughs overhead close to make a dense canopy, little light manages to seep through. Still, despite this, the bright green foliage gives a sense of shadiness and peace. Insects of all kinds trill away just out of sight, and birds weave in their own tunes. Pleasantly cool under the canopy, it's easy to pretend that it's spring again.
>Up ahead, you can see several people walking down the road.

>Not immediately, but you observe them for a moment, and and quickly make out the flowing raiments of several celestials; and quickly discern the rainbow-colored dress and black hat of Tenshi. There seem to be about half a dozen of them with her.

Otherwise getting a message out would be the best course of action. Under no circumstances do we go in as Sanae. That's just asking for so much trouble.

>You approach Tenshi. She grins and waves as you draw closer.
>"Oh, you know," says Tenshi. "Taking the class on a field trip. By the by, Yuli? Show us what you've learned."
>"Um, sensei," says one of the celestials, a tall blonde with an average build, frowning.
>"Is that backtalk I'm hearing?" says Tenshi.
>"No, my apologies," says the celestial.

That'll be our way in, unless we have a means of getting in touch with Moriya that I don't know about.

>"But she hasn't-" says the blonde celestial.
>"She will," Tenshi says with a firm voice.

>"Ground rules?"

>Negligible, really. Unless you're actually trying to fight with it at the same time, then it'd be hard to both at once. But you can at least have it in hand.
>You should be able to, if she doesn't trip.
>"Don't lose," says Tenshi.

> Pull the trident out while talking, but don't enter a stance yet.

>You take out your weapon, and hold it it in one hand with the butt on the ground.

>Give it a little flourish as we do so. Style points and all.

>After giving it a nice twirl.

> Our trident sheath should render it non-lethal, right?

>It could, but securing it would be a problem, and it'd deprive you of being able to use the tines for tricky things.

>You take your Trident in hand and adopt a defensive stance. As long as you keep your distance, you can bat away just about anything. And if you do it just right, you can catch and disarm just about any kind of sword. But if they get close, things get difficult...
>Yuli approaches you, then after a moment, she slashes low, moving in after the attack.
