> "Okay! Konngara, can you gather and measure all of the ingredients? Kogasa, start washing and chopping up the veggies, and I'll work on the fish."
> "Okay, can you get the rice ready, Konngara? Will you need help?"> Get something to throw the guts in, we've learned from last time, ew. When we carved the fish up, start stuffing the fish with the veggies.
> Quickly wash our hands and help Konngara with the rice. "Ah, okay, now, let me get a pot, and you can measure the rice and water and put it in!"
> Is Konngara shorter than the counter? If she is, then lift her up so she can measure the rice and water.> ... Did we forget to shrink our wings? If it doesn't seem they're causing difficulties, then keep them out.
> When she's done measuring everything, sneak a quick hug on her before setting her down, then put the rice on to boil.> If we haven't finished stuffing the fish, have her help us with that, too.> Go ahead and put the fish on the grill.
> "All right, just need it to cook. Kogasa, can you two check to see if the apples are soft yet? I'm gonna get rid of these, ew, guts."> Take the bucket of guts and dump them a fair distance into the woods, then come on back.
> "Okay, now we just need to mash it." Find a fork, and look at Konngara.> "Do you want the honors?"
> Give Konngara the fork, and let her mash and stir the applesauce. While she's doing that, check on the fish and rice.
> Give the fish and rice a bit more time, and watch Konngara go at the applesauce.
> Go ahead and get plates to put the fish on, and take the rice off of the fire. Start portioning the food out.> "Finished, yet?"
> "Good job!"> Grab some bowls to pour the applesauce in, then start moving all of the food to the eating area.> "Konngara, can you tell Kikuri that the food's ready?"
> "Food's done!"> See how they all like it!
> Frown. "Is... do you not like it, Konngara?"
> Then why... could she be remembering when we made it last time...?> Start digging in.
