I'm not going to ignore this command, but why would Sanae think that crashing person is poisonous? Why would Sanae even think they're associated with the haze?

Well, they seemed to be hurt once we used a purification bomb, so the person has to be at least somehow related to it. Also, I guess that's just in my mind or something, but I associate the colour purple with poison. Since Sanae is from the outside world, I thought she might, too.
