I am sure, like many of us, you also dislike powerlevel discussions. On MotK you are always first one to nuke them down ( :V ) could you perhaps shed some light and opinions on why powerlevel discussions are horrible?

With practice. I'm better at focusing on Extra Stages than stuff like Lunatic runs.

They serve no real purpose and have no tangible resolution other than people getting tired of arguing a meaningless subjective opinion. It's also wonderful flamebait. I don't think anything good has ever come out of a powerlevel discussion.

Interesting viewpoint and somewhat share the same opinion. A serious continuation:
What if ZUN started a power level discussion? Would you engage in it? Or would it be just as stupid.
(I spawned this question because I heard this rumour from my classmate who said Brandon Sanderson involved in a powerlevel discussion with Vin vs another char from another author.)

I don't think he would start one at all, frankly. That's not even really the point of danmaku and runs contrary to everything he's done with his universe thus far.
