It'll probably be a slightly bastardized basic game.

the more rage you've experienced toward oimba set-ups that screw your alignment over despite decent play on your part, the better you will be at avoiding the same hosting mistakes when creating your own game (pesco's actual reasoning is probably more convincing than this)

Knowing how to play let's you understand one role's place in the setup. To run a game you have to understand what every role will do and how it works in the presence of all the other roles.

That's just you assuming they're going to make the setup and run the whole thing for you.

I'm the one coming up with the ideas, Bard's the one who is giving his opinion on how the ideas might work, whether they'll be good or bad and he's providing some suggestions too.
And then we have K4U who might review it.

It's only going to be about 9-10 players anyway.

And it's not like it's going to happen soon anyway. It'll be a long time till it comes up.

you could maybe assign job as the host of the next "break" vanilla/pr-light game if that system is indeed going to be put in place, since i seem to recall the general idea behind that being for aspiring hosts to get some experience before trying anything serious

JOB, I mean this in the nicest way, but I don't think you have the attention span to host an entire mafia game. You kind of rush everything and you've replaced out due to criticism, which every bastardized game receives. We're also not short on mafia hosts. Fighting with the guy who approves mafia hosts isn't going to help either. ^^;

It's basically a normal mafia game except there is one slightly bastardy game mechanic.
Even then it's not that bastardy.

And besides, attention isn't my problem here, it's motivation. But I'm really wanting to try modding so I don't think I'll have a problem there.
