I've actually played in two of Kenny's games before. They were both pretty screwy, but then again, they were both "Player makes up the role" games, so balance was literally a crapshoot.
...wait, you played on POS?
That was, actually, what I intended to do here, as I'm kinda "eh" about hosting a "serious" game with only 12-13 players (I've hosted two 32-player forum mafia games before, plus a number of small games on IRC, and played in a lot of larger games on other forums. I definitely have the experience, I've just not played here for various reasons).
Them two games can be found
here and
here.
And I guess the topic thing is whatever, but you may want to quote and include this in the first post:
So, yeah, Spellcard Mafia.
The flavour here is that everyone makes their own ability = makes their own spellcard. The players that are mafia are not randomly chosen until all abilities have been given a green light. Some special rules apply for mafia when they kill. No cluegiver role is needed, as clues will be given anyway.
Standard rules apply: Phases last for 24 hours or until all actions are sent in/majority vote is reached, PM communication between non-Mafia is forbidden, pants are optional.
Also, for signups, I'd prefer if you didn't just say "in", but keep a list. Like
this. Makes it easier to keep track.
Signups run until I say they close.
