That was the smaller suite, it wasn't even the VIP one.  It still was $2063 and frankly Kilga's group made the majority share, so when they pulled out it fell apart.  I don't think I can get enough people who'd be able to afford to split that while keeping people count low.  I mean, even with 10 people that's still $200/person.  While I wouldn't mind the cost I dunno who all would be willing to do that.

It starts at $38, the $150 is for the meet-and-greet.

Far too many people wear jeans and nerd t-shirts or costumes.  VGL encourages more casualness, but even at the Dear Friends orchestra show a few years back people clearly had no idea what proper attire for the symphony is :V  At least put on some nice slacks and a button down!

I can submit it and help you guys out running it.  I've already got a successful panel submission through so I'm pretty much guaranteed another one if I ask, and I really want to do a panel this year but have no ideas.

Having done a panel in the past in no way guarantees you a panel in the future, unless that panel was exceptionally well-received.  And I would hardly qualify yours as 'successful'. <_<

It's true though - MJP (and I by proxy) managed to pack a 9am Friday morning panel in 2005.

It really means nothing unless you're applying with the EXACT SAME fanpanel maybe but even then it didn't get in last few years  :ohdear:

I actually recovered the old 2005 panel on politics and anime from my/his old laptop, but there's been so much new stuff since then it needs like 80% new material.

I might try my TIME TRAVEL IN ANIME proposal once again now that there's a few more prominent ones out and I can legitimately say my job is explaining physics to kids who pretty much have no idea what math is so I can do it with the unwashed masses and 15 year old congoers :V

Yeah kay sorry for not finding this earlier. I would like to go, but i kinda want a buddy or two. I can prob offer room for 3-5 people. It will be a hilton 5 star. Ill charge like ~70 a night cus my dad can get a deal. Ill most likely only stay for one night tho. I am from boston and has cosplay.

Hmm upon rereading my post, it sounds sketchy. I bet half of you are like "lol scrub, trying to troll me into giving you monies? well fat chance!". Well, I dont blame you for thinking those thoughts.
