Writers and artists are essentially the same in many respects, for example they both are geeks, thrive off BS, charge extravagant amounts of money for BS, live large off BS, they both seek to express their feelings, emotions and creativity, in essence, their very soul, in a physical undertaking of some description. I myself am both, and I feel both are excellent outlets for my...

But I personally approve of the separation. Artists and Writers both take pride in their work and the separate boards allows them their own identities, acknowledgement and appreciation that they are an art form unto themselves, which will, one hopes, inspire them to greater greatness and PROFIT.
