>When you get in, you find that it's quite cluttered.
>It's a fairly messy and unassuming apartment-like place, there's a kotatsu off in a corner, with a few folding chairs set up near it for some reason.
>Momiji walks over to a weird box with a door on it and pulls out a can of some kind of drink. "It's a bit of a mess, but it's home. Oh, you're not old enough for this one, so I'll drink it. Good thing I have canned tea too."
>Momiji digs around in the weird box, and pulls out a different can. She then tosses it to you, and with your Nekomata reflexes you catch it expertly!
>Momiji then opens the can she had in her other hand, and drains it in one go, and follows it up with crushing the can, then just tossing it in a random direction to join the rest of the clutter. "Ahhh...I really needed one of those after a day like today. And to think, it ain't over yet. We still gotta get you to the Shrine afterall, and then over to Lord Tenma after that!"

>You ask if Tengu fly all day, and Momiji nods. "Usually, and before we met, I was flying all over taking care of a few things."
>You pop open the can and drink...It's Tea! Not tea like you had at the Yakumo residence, or even on the airship, but it's definitely tea!
>You feel kind of bugged by the clutter, and start cleaning. "If you're gonna do that, then leave my,  uh..undergarments....Where you found them, don't want Aya or Hatate seeing 'em."

>You ask her if that means she's not looking forward to helping, and she just shrugs. "Only person who lives here is me. And the fact of the matter is, you're the first person in a long time to be in here aside from me. I live alone y'know, not too many folks have good reason to come here except for me."
>You try to find extra means to clean, but you don't find much, thankfully most of the clutter is just stray instant ramen cups, cans, and the occasional article of clothing. "There should be a basket somewhere in all this that you can put the clothes in."
>And sure enough, as you move the cans and such around, you find a mid-sized wicker basket, perfect for putting clothing into!
>You then go about gathering up all the clothes, being careful to leave Momiji's unmentionables at the bottom, like she asked.
>"Wow, you've fast at this. Maybe I should have you move in with me." Momiji laughingly remarks while she digs around in the weird box again for another can of that stuff she's been drinking.
>You then begin gathering up the cans and other refuse. "Just the ramen containers and the cans are junk, everything else is somewhat important."
>With this bit of guidance from Momiji, you quickly gather all the refuse she mentioned, and even sort it by type! Momiji looks very impressed!
>After bundling it all into bags, you ask where the bags should go. "Just put them out back, they'll get taken care of on garbage day."
>So you take the bags and set them outside the backdoor of her...house...apartment...hut...thingy.

[Kasu]

> Satisfied sigh.
> Head back inside.
> "Now that this place is clean, can we head to the shrine, nya?"

>You sigh in a satisfied way, and head back inside.
>You ask if you and Momiji can head to the shrine now that the place is clean, and she nods. "I've had enough to drink, so we can get going." Upon looking, you see no less than five crushed cans at her feet, and there's a slight wobble to her stance, but she seems normal aside from that.
>You also remember that you're kinda hungry, and ask if Momiji has anything to eat. She shrugs and rummages around in the weird box some more and fishes out a small container, then tosses it to you, which you catch with a slight bit more difficulty than the can earlier. "It's just leftovers, but if should keep you going for a bit."
>Upon opening the container, you see two porkchops, one seems to have been gnawed on, the other is intact.
>You decide to eat the intact one, then give Momiji back the resealed container, which she then puts back in the weird box-with-a-door.

>You and Momiji then head out, and Momiji locks the door behind her as she exits after you.
>After a while of walking, you and Momiji come to another gate. "This gate leads to the path up to the Shrine, it should still be safe. But we should still be careful when we get out there." After saying this, she flies up to what seems to be yet another guardhouse, and speaks with the Tengu within.
>The gate then opens to reveal a long set of stairs flanked by thick forest on each side.
>Off in the distance you see a strange cat, but once it realizes that you see it, it almost seems to vanish. How strange.

>"You saw that Cat Momisi?"

>You ask Momiji if she saw the cat....Right as she lands. "Cat? Only cat I see here is you."
>You and Momiji proceed along the path.

 on A more noticeable note, the paths, geographicly, to Tengu palace and Shrine were the same from the Airship landing?

The path to the village from the landing was more twisty, you encountered the Kedama in a somewhat open stretch.
The path to the Shrine seems more orderly, and well-kept.

>You keep an eye out for other cats, but you don't see any. You see a few Fairies and Kedama roving through the forest though, but they don't seem to be that interested in you.
>You continue along the path while trying to count the stairs.

>You wonder how much further it is to the shrine.
>Meanwhile, the fairies are acting as strangely as they always are, jabbering intently amongst themselves about something called 'Starfish Hitler', and 'Genghis Khan Condor'.
>While the Kedama just stare blankly at just about everything, several Kedama even bump into a tree or two as they drift along lazily. You can't help but giggle about it.
>You quip that the stairs are pretty long, and Momiji nods. "Yeah, normally folks just fly to the shrine if they want to go there. But because you can't fly, we have to take the ground route."
>You concentrate on counting the stairs again but...Oh dear, you've lost count! You'll have to start again on the way back.
>Off deeper into the forest, you see a girl with a wide-brimmed hat and a yellow shirt playing with a few Kedama of various colors, she almost seems to fade from your awareness entirely when you focus your vision on her. You can't even read her Presence, how strange. It's almost like she isn't actually there.

>You try to focus, but if anything, the mysterious girl just fades even more.
>You stop to point her out to Momiji, but Momiji just looks at you strangely. "A girl? Over with those Kedama? You've got to be seeing things, there's nobody there. I would've heard, seen, and smelled them if there was someone there."
>When you turn back to look again, you find that the mysterious girl has vanished completely, but there is a faint scent of roses on the air. How strange.
>You continue along the path, taking in the sights, and watching the Fairies and Kedama go about their lives.
>Off along a side path, a small fight has broken out between a group of Fairies, and there's a few Kedama blocking the offshoot that it's happening in. It looks like the Kedama are trying to keep people from getting involved in Fairy matters.

Roses, a mysterious girl who doesn't seem to actually be there, are you picking up on it~?
>You stop for a bit to watch the Fairies fight amongst each other, and Momiji seems to have the same idea.
>You say worriedly that there's gotta be something weird going on, but Momiji just chuckles. "It's probably nothing as bad as the Kedama incident earlier."
>You mention that you smelled roses, and that there didn't used to be that smell around before. Momiji looks puzzled. "You smell roses? But there's no roses on the mountain at all, how strange."
>You still smell the faint scent of roses as you and Momiji watch the fairies argue and fight.
>"Starfish Hitler was cooler than Genghis Khan Condor, you doof!" One of the fairies suplexes another fairy! Momiji winces when the suplex impacts the ground.
>But the suplexed Fairy reverses the attack into a submission hold! "Nuh-uh! Genghis Khan Condor could fly!"
>You wonder what they're even arguing about, and the Kedama and Momiji seem to share that same thought.

>You ask Momiji if she wants to take care of this before you and her move on, and she shakes her head. "Fairies are like this, they're do strange things for no reason."
>You wonder what those names they were talking about meant, maybe someone else can tell you about them?
>You ask Momiji what Common Sense is, and she chuckles. "Something that's rather hard to come by here in gensokyo. I suggest you keep what common sense you have, unless you want to be as strange as the Shrine Maiden up at the Shrine. According to the news, she came from the outside, along with the shrine itself."
>You then ask Momiji what a Hitler is, and she shrugs. 'I think they said starfish too. To be honest, I'm not sure what they were jabbering on about."
>Meanwhile, the fight amongst the Fairies has continued, but now they're shouting about peaches or somesuch. The Kedama are just staring blankly.
>After a while, the Fairies fly off, still arguing and fighting as they go. The kedama follow suit, drifting lazily back into the forest.
>...Except for one little one that seems to want to stay with you. "Aww...I think it likes you!"

>Before you can respond, it's comfortably parked itself atop your head, making some kind of contented sound. Purring maybe?
