If she does, I believe I can stun her without actually doing any physical harm. I will need you to not look at me when I do it, though, or else I will stun you as well. If she cries out again like last time, jump in some direction away from where her voice is coming, and look away from me while closing your eyes, okay?"

>"Oh yeah," says Tenshi.
>You continue onward and cross the bridge. Along the way, you see Parsee hovering by one of the supports, pounding away at it with a hammer. She seems too preoccupied to really notice you.
>Soon you reach the gates of the city. Looking ahead, you can see the market down the street is heavily crowded.

>Do we know where Nue's tavern is? If so, head there. If not, find someone to ask for directions.

>You were there yesterday, so it is not too difficult to find your way there.
>Actually reaching it is another story. The streets are crowded with oni, and when it comes to working your way through a crowd of oni, they tend to win. As well, the smells of various fried foods remind you that you haven't eaten for some time yet. Eventually you manage to get through the market and into the pub district, which is also quite crowded. This crowd is not quite so mobile, so it is a little easier to slip between the people and reach your goal.
>The Rose and Otter Weasel tavern has a pretty good crowd in it, full of loudly talking oni. You notice several of the tables have card games going, and a couple seem to have board games. Nue is behind the bar, pouring a variety of drinks. She waves to you briefly, but you can't really hear what she says over the crowd.

>The gem has too much value as a keepsake to get rid of, you decide.
>"Well, this is the thing," says Nue, frowning. "I know they're called seeds of non-identification, but they don't grow on trees. It takes ages for me to make one. And I'm the only one who has an idea how they work, so I'd have to do this personally. And if your friend hates people, I'd have to go topside."
