If there's anyone that would appreciate art it's Remilia. Would that be a problem to offer Kilga? I'd rather you keep doing the talking but I think this is the way we should go. Thinking in tangents makes it hard to talk in a straight line.

You mean the art that largely got ruined in the fall? >_>

If you have the artist you don't need an old painting, they can compose something she requests.

I'd say that stops being us taking responsibility and starts being someone else taking responsibility in our stead, which is a pretty big dick move. If we're going to take responsibility, we have to be the ones to do whatever it is that is needed. We can't just delegate it off elsewhere.

If you feel that way then. Although we already said we can't offer ourselves as a servant, could we not offer for Iku to put on a few performances? She IS the Dance Queen. I've already accomplished my goal in this conversation, which was the opposite of what GYMO wanted. I don't want to spend a part of the next Z-Machine trying to fix relations between the SDM and Bhava-Agra because we couldn't try to negotiate. Right now even if we have to take the islands by force I'm satisfied the tea party afterwards would be peaceful.

That's the point of having Tenshi conduct a self-defense class, though, and the class has the added bonus of giving Tenshi a meaningful job that she enjoys, keeping both sides happy with her situation.

I think that what he was talking about is having more celestials who come to Gensokyo more often and become familiar faces, so that if something happens again, there would be known people around to attest to Bhava-Agra's innocence. It'd seem a lot less suspicious that way.

I'd say that stops being us taking responsibility and starts being someone else taking responsibility in our stead, which is a pretty big dick move. If we're going to take responsibility, we have to be the ones to do whatever it is that is needed. We can't just delegate it off elsewhere.

We're not doing this for us. We're acting as a representative of Bhava-Agra and the Dragon, and I'd think that gives us a bit of negotiating authority. There's nothing wrong about offering in negotiation something we would be unable to provide just by ourselves.

Oh, and I don't mind how the conversation worked out, although yes, I would have preferred beating the shit out of Remilia. But this works.

Dance lessons had crossed my mind and were actually the first thing I would have brought up has Remilia specifically asked us what we would offer.
