>You tell her it is to the Northeast, pointing in the proper direction, and tell her if she sees the town she needs to turn eastward.
>"Are you sure?" she asks. Before you can confirm, she shouts, "Oh thank you! You're the best!"

>Continue into the forest along the path we took last time and see if we can find where we last saw the spectre

>You head into the forest, trying to pick out the path you followed beforehand. Finding it is not so hard, but actually following it isn't any easily than it was previously. You also notice the shadow is gone, something that didn't occur to you previously due to the faerie accosting you.
>You return to the clearing and find it is empty. Before despair can really set in, you see the poltergeist peek around a tree and look at you expectantly.

If you hide around there, Tenshi and I can take Kogasa and Nitori to that place, Tenshi can leave them with me and go back to the house, and you can come out then. You're definitely good enough at hiding that Tenshi won't find you by accident. Does that sound reasonable?"

>She nods and approaches.
>As the sun is still quite high in the sky, you don't have all that much of a shadow at the moment. Thus, the poltergeist is able to step on more or less all of it. It's a strange feeling, as though you have weight distributed all over your body at once. It doesn't hurt, thankfully, as she is rather light, but it almost hurts. She is also quite well inside your personal space, making this more uncomfortable.
>After a minute or so, she steps off and shakes her head. "It is like trying to push through a tree."

> "Mmm. It didn't feel any different from normal on my end either, aside from a much more even weight distribution, and that is easily attributed to my shadow being much shorter than normal."
> "Well, the point of that was to give you an idea of what it was like trying to get into another person, to see if it was different somehow. My suggestion, na?ve on the subject as I am, would be this; after you've spent your time contemplating your decision on what to do, and if you make a choice, devote some mental energy to studying this problem, to see if you can figure out what else can be done with the shadow of a person so you can enter it. You're the person most adept at handling shadows that either of us knows; if there's anyone that might be able to figure out how to overcome this barrier, it's you, with your inherent knowledge and experiences. It's quite possible nothing will come of it, but research into the unknown never guarantees positive results. And, if you DO succeed in coming up with a alternate idea, then our options for getting you where you may want to go are expanded."
