>"Miss, we got a little crisis here. Just because those two morons at the Web barrier let you go hearing your little story, doesn't make you fully trust worthy." She raises an eyebrow.

>She sighs. "Fine. Go.  The kasha come and go around here. Sinner corpses never seem to run out. I've quite a few kashas in the past few days but a nekomata.... I dunno. Didn't pay much attention those days. Maybe" shrug

>Presuming she doesn't have more to say, cross the bridge.

>She doesn't, it seems.
>You cross the great Parsee Bridge without further ado.
>When you do so, the cave gets hilariously expanded so much, you can't even judge where is the ceiling nor walls on your left or right.
>But there is light up ahead. Many lights. it seems that there is a city, a pretty lively one at that. Up in the "sky" though there's a moon. A moon, underground, shining a fair light on the town and streets of Former Hell.
>Behind the city lies a gigantic palace, majestically overlooking the city itself.

>Head into the city.

>You don't. Your mistress deals with some things solo and behind your back. You respect it, you don't have other options.
>You proceed into the city. The closer you get, the more lively it happens to be. The city is large, much bigger then the human village above, and looks ancient. it's filled with youkai, especially Oni.
>People go around with their business or drinking. You encounter many fights among the natives too, pretty violent looking. The place doesn't seem safe. especially for little Chen.

>Try to get a sense of where we are, and what is around.

>You stop and look around.  In a distance you see a building that appears to be a hospital, or at least some kind of Nursery.
>The way to the gigantic Palace shouldn't be hard as well.
>There are many taverns, pubs around. Oni love to drink, so obviously they have a wide selection. A pub with a window, a pub without a window, a pub that used to have a window and so on.
>there are some posters as well. They're colorful so they catch your eye. There's some kind of instrument with strings drawn on them and a sign "Blazing Fires. LIVE! At the Palace of the Earth Spirits!". There's also a date. that event appears to be held tomorrow night.
>You judge that when you were entering, it was late afternoon, so now it might be evening.
>There are also other posters with some kind of a girl drawn on them. She looks rather cute and she appears to have an eyeball on cords attached to her... Is that a satori? The poster says "Missing! If you know where this girl is, bring her to the Palace of the Earth Spirits. High reward for the finder!"

>You pay attention to cat ears and stuff.
>The city gets pretty crowded and really noisy it's getting hard to move freely. not to mention looking around.
>You turn to some main streets to have a better view yet the crowd is even bigger here.
>Your bag with your packed lunch, which you always had with you, gets torn and scrams with the waves of people. You try to catch it, but your box gets smashed to bits by oni.... There goes the food.

>Do the crowds seem to be just milling about, or does there seem to be a specific thing drawing them?

>Sadly, it was the crowd motion, people seem to busy to be bitches.
>It doesn't seem like anything specific is drawing the crowd, no. It's like a crowded Arabic city in the noon. Just that night hours came, so perhaps these people are trying to get to their homes after a day's work, perhaps.

>Do we still have some chocolate in out pocket?
>If so, would that restore any magic energy?

>You don't. you took 3 bars from the basement. One went for Wriggle and the other two were distributed among the fairies. Bummer.

>You didn't quite see but you manipulated your tails enough to stab the pervert with one in an eye.
>You hear an "Oww..." and your safe.
>You turn into smaller streets. There seems much safer and less crowded.
>Far away there seems to be a head with cat ears, going through he streets. Head, because that's what you see hidden in the crowd in a "Where's Wally?" style.

> Use some kind of a magic tracking beacon on our target so we don't lose sight of her.
>And follow closely!

>You have your handy dandy shiny yin yang orb. You can order it to stay above that kasha's head. The place is light, it's not like you won't see when it'll fly away and it'll be cheap in eating off magic power. And it's the quickest thing to do, actually.
>Your little orb flies above the kasha's head.
>Current Magic Power level: 64%/100%
>If not for that, you'd lose the youkai easily, as the person seems short.
>You make your way through the crowd behind the kasha.
>It looks like it's making it's way out of the town, towards the big palace.
>You finally manage to leave the crowds behind and you see the kasha clearly now. It's a male kasha, with black trousers, with  a small chain hanging from it's belt. It also has a black long sleeve shirt and short red hair with cat ears. He's whistling as he's going up a hill to the palace. there are two skulls floating by his side, burning with blue fire.
>He didn't notice your orb.
