It's really weird to me that people who found Gamzee or John or most of the trolls hilarious don't enjoy SBaHJ, given they're all basically the same thing.

Gamzee is a parody of Juggalos that goes so far as to be a homage to Juggalos. He is at once parodying and celebrating the idea of the Juggalo. John is the same with people who like awful movies; or at least he was. Rose with people who like lousy fiction. And at least half of the trolls. And, SBaHJ with bad webcomics. They all take the aspects that are annoying and bad, and portray them in ways that are at once there to be laughed and to be perversely charming. It just seems weird to me that one accepts it for Gamzee et al, then rejects it for SBaHJ.

Also TURNZEE is giggle-inducing.

I think it's probably because people who think Gamzee is funny can look at SBaHJ and go "god that's just ugly as shit, what the hell is funny about this". I personally only enjoy most SBaHJ stuff a little bit but it's okay, and then the occasional thing is pretty funny (like TURNZEE)

But yeah, Hussie seems to be pretty intent on breaking off any dramatic tension with an author interlude :V
