How can I use PCB english patch when I buyed the game

Hello there! and I buyed PCB but I don't know how to patch it, Its like the whole english patch is on a winzip file and PCB is one another (more like outside) file,I can't copy the english patch I can't paste the game onto the winzip file. I need help!

You should be able to install the game to your computer from the disc. Then, make sure the game is patched to version 1.00b. (you can tell from the title screen) After that, download and install the english patch. It should be a .exe file, and make sure you put the patch in the same folder PCB is in.

Now I would say to download the english patch off of Touhou Wiki but it doesn't look like it's there right now. I could host mine as an exe file if you like up on mediafire.

Also beware of possible score.dat data wipes every time you switch from the japanese .exe to the english one, or the other way around - PCB is the only game which does that, make sure to make a copy of the PCB score.dat file before switching the .exe file you'll run the game from.

I fixed the link for the PCB English patch on Touhou Wiki. It should work now, but tell me if this isn't the latest version. I think this is 1.1. 1.0.

Wait...... There's a version ABOVE 1.0?! The one on the old wiki (which PCB isn't there now) had 1.0 since forever. Maybe this will fix the typo I noted on my PCB hard 1cc of stage 6 for youmu's card.

EDIT: Oh wait, never mind. I tested it with a duplicate I made of PCB and nothing has changed. It's still version 1.0.

The whole thing is a zip file,Is there a direct EXE file for it? because my PCB english patch isn't with the game but in the same folder since the game if I bought it is not in a winzip file,So is there an EXE or does the EXE have to be in the winzip file?

Toss in CD. Install game to computer.
Download English Patch in zip form. Extract into same folder as PCB.
Run th07_english_patch_1.0.exe.

Did you get to the part with the patching (the DOS like screen)? If it failed there, did it say anything about an unsupported version? PCB needs to be patched to version 1.00b before the english patch can run. You can see if it's the correct version by booting up the game and at the bottom of the main menu, it should say what version it is.

it said it is 1.00b and said something like perfect cherry blossom (unsupported)
