The song has this ridiculous 80s-90s vibe that I find insanely attractive, despite the anime itself being a glorious trainwreck.
That's all it has going for it though, but nevertheless, it's a good pick for me.

Aside from being horrid AMV material, I like this for being some sort of cute attempt to delve into gothic rock but it's too scared to do it.

The animation is lame, the song has nothing special, but somehow it's so catchy that after many years it still pops in my mind quite often.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that I lost count how many times I watched both Mai series. Just maybe.
