Hasn't ZUN banned the sale of touhou doujin anime, i.e. changed copyright laws?
So doesn't that mean that the new episode can't come out unless there's a marketing loophole?

No, I think ZUN's fine with this one. I think that his "ban" was moreso directed to the makers of that one crossover.

Yeah, ZUN was specifically against commercial works. No matter what, Musou Kakyou is still a doujin-work.
