> Mentally sigh. Hopefully Aya's camera is okay.
> Turn Aya's camera on.
> Float over to a spot a good distance away from the devil such that she and her door would appear entirely within a picture. Float up a littte bit as well, so we're angled slightly down.
> If there are any water droplets on the lens, keep a very firm hold of the camera with one hand and wipe them off with the other.
> "Okay, now pose still with your hand in the air as if you were waving to me!"

>You turn the camera on, and clean it with as much of a dry part of your sleeve as you can. Then you get into position, as does she; the devil looking up with a slightly confused expression while waving.

Damnit, forgot to tell her to smile.

EDIT: Ask her what her name is, in case we run into Patchouli again (or, more likely, Meiling) and need to explain why we're there.

>You show it to her. "Wow, it looks just like me!" says the devil. "Do you have a tiny youkai painter in that box?"

Ask her to smile for the second one so we can give the smiling one to Koa <_<

>Cross the bridge, assuming no attempt is made to stop us

>"You too!" she says, before marveling at the picture.
>You cross the bridge. Despite it's rickety appearance, and leaky room, it seems fairly sturdy under your feet. And it is nice to get out of the rain for a moment.
>On the other side, you find more forest, no less vibrant or rain-soaked than that on the other side of the bridge. The mountains do not seem to be too far away now.

>Continue on towards the mountains

>You continue onward, and the trees soon give way to bare and rocky foothills. Looking ahead, you think you can see a path of sorts wending its way up through the foothills to the side of a mountain. It would also be possible to go north or south; the latter path seeming a bit craggier, but ascending faster. Obvious exits are North, South, East, and West.

>Can we see any sights or points of interest along either of these paths?
>If not, keep going west

>None of the paths really stand out.
>You continue westward. The trail begins to incline sharply upwards, while the land inclines even more sharply. Rocky crags dot the land, as do sharp cliffs. Dark and rainy as it is, you imagine practically anyone else would have a hard time seeing through all of this. For you, it is merely wet and cold. Neither of these things are terrible, really, you are an oarfish youkai, but it's much better when the damp part is a constant thing in a pool or stream rather than falling intermittently from the sky during a chilly evening. The ground is a muddy mess as well, with runnels of water racing down the inclines and making things even more wet and difficult to travel. The path, as it were, grows steeper and more treacherous, more so with the weather. Cliffs and step inclines border it on one side, while the other is a increasingly perilous drop down a sharp hill that would likely break something of yours were you to tumble down it.
>Finally, the path comes to an end in a yawning cavern.

>How dark is it in here? Dark enough to make it difficult to see?

>You carefully enter the cavern. The floor is inclined up a bit, thankfully, but a stream of water along the left edge suggests that water is getting in from somewhere.
>The cave is pitch back.

>You gather some electricity to yourself, and try to release it slowly. It is a but like holding your breath, as it grows uncomfortable quickly.
>You see the cavern continues on some yards before fading into darkness. Water streams out along the left side, where the floor slightly slants. The floor seems to be smooth, if uneven.
