Kore wa Zombie deska is just throwing me into hysterics everytime Ayumu gets shot down before his 'onii-chan' fantasies get half-way.
In episode 2 is just especially so, because lol scold me more Sera-sama!! YOU KUSO-MUSHI!! this is by far my favorite scolding ever. probably what I liked best about Sera so far is that her sword materializes from flying leaves which come out of fucking nowhere, and welp, she can dematerialize easily.

I guess she is the fanfiction quotient of Youmu meets Remilia. and damn, those boobs~~!!
But most of all, this episode is all about Euclide-chan, for me, she is the star of the show if only because of the way she responds to things with such cold abject displeasure. "Hey you are cool and all..." "Please don't do that again" "More rice pls."

OK, episode 2 of Level E has me interested. It was funny, yes, but it also has some mystery thrown in there - it turns out, aliens from several different planets live among us, and some of these aliens are nicer than others, but they all appear human. It seems to be setting up for some potentially hilarious interplanetary drama here. Very enjoyable.

DOPPEL EDIT: Fractale continues to be great. And I really love the OP. I have high hopes for this series. All the details they put into this, from the landscapes to Clain's dad's water-cooler effect, make it visually great, but on top of that the story's touching and funny.

This is probably my favorite series of this season so far. Though I need to see Fractale and some others to really have an opinion.

From what I've seen, there are like no good OPs this season. Most of the EDs are amazing though.

Spoiler:
I can't believe that Shaft went through with the tripped flags. I was ready for a "Sorry I'm immortal because of bad wording on my wish" or something like that
. Holy crap every time you think you know this show it turns on it's head. Forget being a surprise, this is easily one of my favorites for the season.

Edit:
Spoiler:
Before someone says "it's Shaft/Urobuchi/whatever, you should've seen it coming" or the like, remember I know next to nothing about the anime industry itself.

Gosick and Level E have done a good job of helping me recover from Madoka. Level E in particular is looking to go in a fun direction, and the interactions between the cast is nice. No "weak" characters so far, which makes me happy.

Gosick is the same as always
Spoiler:
(I knew the blond guy had something to do with it)
. It was nice that it tied up all the loose ends from the first episode as well; I guess I overestimated the "hares" plot. We also got more information on Victorique, and why she
Spoiler:
doesn't throw a fit about not getting credit
. She is still the character of the season.

Madoka....
Spoiler:
I'm notoriously weak against gore of any kind
, so this is going to be...interesting going forward. I love that this is not your typical "love and friendship conquers all" magical girl show, but I'm not sure I can take 10 more episodes of this. :ohdear:

(Sorry for the spoiler abuse, I'll stop if it bothers people).

EDIT: Fractale Simulcast temporarily halted due to pirating. Until fansubbing stops, the company won't let funimation continue airing the show.

FFFFFFFF- There goes one of the best shows from the season for now.

Well that is a shame. It's pretty much the best series this season.

There are some I like the song with it, but animation is so so.

Kore wa Zombie is one of my favorite imo, currently in my impression the best OP song is in Infinite stratos, love that beat.

In my current opinion, Kore wa Zombie is right up there with Seto no Hanayome.  This show is so damn amusing.

Fractale is goddamn fantastic. It's funny, charming, and even from just three episodes the pacing is expertly done. You can really see already how the cast is evolving; I definitely didn't expect the "villains" to become the main active force, and you can plainly see Clain develop by being immersed into such a different way of life. Even though it's hilarious and everything up to now has been very light-hearted (even a kidnapping essentially turned into a "please feel welcome"), the severity of the end of this episode has such an incredibly moving contrast to what's been shown so far.
Spoiler:
Butcher dying right off the bat? DID NOT SEE COMING, HOLY SHIT.
It's so suddenly shoved the story into a more serious direction; and each scene beforehand was written so innocently, as though it were viewed by Clain. Even while they were hiding it gave off such a curious feel. You can vividly see the change happen right before your eyes.

It's just goddamn fantastic.

Episode 4 of Infinite Stratos is epic, I am surprised, despite the harem-ish setting, this vaguely resembles good anime with plot! and it is a lot like Sakura Wars.
Anyone who says against this show is really, prejudice-guided, this is a very good show.

Yes. Absolutely. It's the one precious shining gem in this pile of manure we call the winter season.

Holy shit, episode 4 of Freezing.

this is amazing, the fight scene and all was well done. This strangely reminds me of good yesteryear's fighting anime but with more fanservice.
the gritty mercilessness brings it to life. Who said catfights have to be about girls pulling hairs and tearing off clothing? These girls will

1. Rising trade-off punches and kicks and weapons-crossing as they take on invisible staircases up mid air!
2. CUNT PUNCH WITH A TONFA
3. FUCK YEAH STAB HER DEAD BITCH AND STAB SOME MORE.
this anime is brutal and I love it!
