>The shadow's motion stops as you talk; you swear you see the lower part of her face moving just a little. She then nods.

>"I'm... afraid I can't understand you. I can only see your shadow moving."
>"I apologize for this, but I just want to make sure you can really hear me. Can you stand on one leg, and wave your right around about in circles, for a moment?"

>You shake your head, and so does she.
>After a moment, she puts her hand to her head, then raises a leg and waves her right arm around.

>She nods in response to your suggestion. She shrugs at your first question, nods to your second, shakes her head to your third and fourth questions.
>While she answers the third question, you shift you weight a little, and notice that she follows suit.

>You take a couple steps, and she follows along. You suspect she is attached to you.
>She shrugs again, and shakes her head.

>"Am I correct in assuming that you were attacked by a strange white-haired poltergeist, before you ended up here?"

>You explain things as best you can. She nods between the pause of your explanation and your question. She nods again when you ask about the assailant, and shakes her head to the second part.

>She holds up one finger after your first question and shakes her head. Then she holds up a second finger and shakes her head against. Then she puts up a third finger and nods.
>After your second question, she repeats this, shaking her head at one finger and nodding at the second.

>She shakes her head.

>She points at you, or at least it seems that way from how her arm vanishes almost up to her shoulder. You can almost hear her say, "Yeah, that's it!" She nods as well, afterward.

>She ponders for a moment, then raises a finger suddenly; you can practically hear the "Aha!"
>She points at you. Then she kneels and...you think she's pointing at the ground. At least her finger is on the same level as her feet; and practically beside yours. Then she points at you again.
