>"What? Why?"
> "It's a long story, but if you insist."
> Cirno sits down.
> "At my house, we have lots of rabbits called the Inaba. Among the Inaba is Reisen, who we used to send to the village to peddle medicine. She's also a good fighter, so she went with us at the very beginning to fight against the moon. This is when it all started to go downhill, because she was hit by what looked like a smoke bomb. She seemed okay. However, when she rose to her feet, in her red eyes glowed with an intent so murderous. It was she who soon became our target, and the Bamboo Forest was covered in blood that night."
> She seems to be getting more and more into telling the story. There are people who have gathered around to listen, although they are mostly children and youkai.
> "Not even the leader of the Inaba, Tewi, who lived up to her luck and survived, escaped unscathed, for she looked straight into the pupils of her fellow Inaba. Perhaps a day after Reisen's rampage, she gathered the Inaba as an army, for Reisen was still lurking. She then turned us away from the home that she had offered with such hospitality when we first arrived in Gensokyo. As I fled from the Bamboo Forest, it began to change and twist upon itself. At one point, I saw a strange figure that didn't look like any Inaba I've seen. When I took a step towards it, I suddenly found myself outside the forest."
> "And so, I've been here ever since," Kaguya concludes on a somewhat dejected note. The few people listening applaud.
> "I've seen a person with bunny ears come into the village before!" Cirno enthuses.
