It's very coincidental that the problem exists with Reisen and Suika only. This looks like an awfully suspicious 50-gazillionth case of "I have english patch 1.07 with my 1.00->1.06 version of the game! (or whatever the version numbers are).
Moral of the story, update your game BEFORE applying the English patch, and don't think the menu at the top saying 1.07EngA (or whatever it is) is your version, that's the version of the English patch. Take away the English patch, then see what it says.
