I'd like to request something slightly different.
Could you make it possible to permanently check Don't use smileys? I vastly prefer ASCII smilies to graphical ones, and it is a mild irritant to have to check it when I want to use one.
Alternately, if it is already possible and I'm just a dumb muck, lemme know that instead. =I
