To be fair, Suikama, that's 3 different routes in Fate which already cuts it down to maybe 270,000 each. And that's ignoring bad ends and omake stuff like the Tiger Dojos.
Also Nasu is well-known for using a hundred words where one will do. He may have a cool setting and has a good sense for fight scenes and general badassery, but he's not a very good writer.
When Taillte walked outside of her house, still in her night gown, she saw two figures in the distance arguing. One appeared to be Etainne, and the other appeared to be a girl in similar garb, but with different hair color, and it was shorter than Etainne's ground-length hair. Taillte wondered who the other person was (it was Vallar, who had tried to play a prank on Etainne that morning but was discovered), and approached the two of them. Etainne looked relatively calm, but the other girl seemed verily indignant. Etainne turned to Taillte. "Oh, good morn, child," she said nonchalantly. "Do not mind me, this is a mere incident, please do go get dressed." before going back to dismissing the girl's incessant threats to beat her up. The child growled. "Hey, listen to me, Etainne, I, Vallar, am going to get back at you for what you did to me all those years!""What? Those were your own incompetence.""Grr...!""Now, please, leave me be. I have things to take care of.""No! I demand a fight!""...What?""We shall fight! With fisticuffs! You and me! No weaponry! No below the belt hits!""You've got to be kidding me. We're /kids/.""Shut up, you know that's a lie!""Not in front of the kid.""..."Taillte tilted her head and ran back to her house, possibly because she now realized that she was still in her night gown, and she had just woken up, and had a strangely arousing dream the previous night. Vallar and Etainne continued to throw words at each other, wearing Etainne's patience further and further, before she finally relented, saying that she would oblige to Vallar's requests to fight like gentlemen, even if they were young women. The two of them stood by the large tree on the vale, and Vallar jumped up and down excitedly. She had the advantage, for she wore clothing that allowed for more mobility. Sadly, it was not enough, Etainne had superior CQC skills, and was able to read all of Vallar's subpar movements and her punches. Not to mention that despite her heavy robes, she could still swing her arm fairly hard, and ended up socking Vallar right in the face, knocking her down, and into unconsciousness. Etainne sighed and looked up back at Dagdanos, and swore that it sighed in disappointment, as if it knew that Vallar was foolish in her decision. "Sir Dagdanos, you know how much the Tlachtga respects you," Etainne said quietly to herself. "Why won't your pilot do the same with me? It's annoying." she then walked away, leaving Vallar's unconscious body under the tree, all she could see were stars flying around her face.
?Heeeeeh, Lia~??Heeeeeeeeeh??...??...??Is she asleep??Liane felt someone poking her in the ribs with a stick.?Stabby stabby~??Heh, heh, wake up Lia~??She?s not moving. Do you think she is dead???Eeeeeeeeh? She?s still breathing, look!??Awwwwww, so I can?t set her on fire???No you can?t, Allie. It?s not nice to set Lia on fire! She will get angry and then we will not get dinner!??How mean! I don?t want to go to bed without dinner! But we need her to wake up...??Let?s stabby stabby her more~??Yaaaaay~?She heard the sound of the two girls running away, then a moment later they were back at her side.?She?s still not waking up...??Yeah...??Hehehe, just come a bit closer and I you will have the scare of your life?, Liane thought to herself, preparing to jump up at any moment.?Eeeeeh, maybe we really need to set her on fire...??Oh, so can I? Can I??The voice sounded excited. Liane heard a scraping sound, then a stinging smell penetrated the air...?GASOLINE???STOP! I?m awake, I?m awake!?, she screamed as she jumped up at once, stumbling a few steps back to avoid being potential roast beef.?What is wrong with you, did you really just try to kill m-?, she stopped in the middle of her words as her brain took in the sight before her.Two girls were standing before her. They were Franziska and Aleena, the two lolis whom she called friends.?Ah...?Franzi let out a sound of surprise and let go off the sticks she was holding, probably to poke Liane some more. Four sticks, all of them with marshmallows waiting to be roasted on the end, clattered to the ground. Something in Liane?s brain signaled her that this should not be possible, that it was another of those things she had already noticed before, but her attention was drawn to Aleena and the thought was lost. Aleena was staring at her with wide eyes and her mouth open while gasoline poured down from a container she was holding right onto the spot that Liane had been lying on a second before. The small girl seemed to be more disappointed than anything else.?Awwww, she woke up. That?s mean...?
?Let me tell you something, Liane. What humans can perceive in this world can be divided into several levels. Normal humans, like you, have a natural restriction to only access the first level of reality, the superficial world ruled by logic and reason. But that is not all there is. You have noticed the strange happenings around here. Things that should not be possible. Things happening without you being able to see the cause, right? Most people might call those things supernatural, but in fact they are not. They are rooted in physical reality just as much as everything else. In other words, those things are physically there, but most humans are incapable of perceiving them. It?s been that way for ages. Mythology, religion, superstition, a lot of it stems from humans that deliberately or accidentially breached the realms of human perception and caught a glimpse of the higher levels. The things you have noticed as being strange here? They are only strange because you can?t ?see? the actual happenings yet. Right now though, the Doc is removing your natural limiter, and you will be able to see more of the truth of reality. Be prepared to kiss your beloved logic and reason goodbye.?, Ophelia chuckled.Liane wasn?t sure she understood completely. Her eyes felt like someone was putting pressure on them. So there were things that existed but she just couldn?t see. And that was supposed to explain everything that happened here? She couldn?t imagine what kind of things those should be. Nothing she could think of that could exist in this world would explain what she had seen. Suddenly, the tingling stopped. Her eyes still hurt a bit when the teacher removed her hands.?There, you should be able to access a new level of perception now. Have fun~? , she heard the teacher?s voice.Slowly, very slowly, Liane opened her eyes. She could make out a blurry face in front of her that became clearer as she blinked a few times. The teacher was looking down at her, smiling happily. Nothing seemed off about her. Then she noticed someone moving around impatiently next to her.?Heh, heh, Lia! Can you see? Can you??, she heard Franzi?s cheerful voice next to her.Liane slowly turned her head over to the little girl, then her eyes grew wide. She blinked once, then twice. Then she fainted. The last thing she was before the world turned black was the little girl waving at her with four arms at once...
?So, tests are coming up. Scared??From the playful tone in his voice, it was clear Kiyoshi had a good deal of confidence in itself. Sango was tempted to mention that he might have a harder time passing if he ended up late for the exam, but that seemed like a bad way to start the morning.?What, scared? Me? You?re kidding, right??Maybe she was prone to going wandering when no-one was looking, but that didn?t mean Sango was a slacker. She did her studying, and practiced what she could. Her trips to the surface were a chance to use her training more practically, so if anything they should have been complimenting her for initiative.Kiyoshi chuckled at that. The act seemed to wake him up slightly, and his slouch over the table dissipated.?Well, you?ve got nothing to worry about, do you? You?ve got the Big J in the palm of your hand.?Sango?s entire body went tense.?P-Phwee?!?This was a well-known nervous tic of hers. When Sango?s nerves got the better of her, she would start giving off panicked ?phwee? noises, whistling as if she were still a dolphin. She dropped her breakfast back on the plate, standing up with a look of shock on her face.?I-It?s nothing like that, I swear! I just think he?s a really good teacher, okay?!?Kiyoshi was unfazed by Sango?s sudden outburst. He went from slouching in his seat to sitting back comfortably, smirking dryly to himself.?Yeah, yeah. Sometimes I wonder if you want to have his kids and not mine.?That was enough to overload Sango?s brain entirely. She attempted to offer a response for a few seconds, but only puzzled phwees drifted out of her mouth. She eventually resigned herself to her seat, her face a bright shade of red.Kiyoshi allowed himself another chuckle, but let the point drop. He?d had his fun, and his poking was only meant to be playful. Maybe it was poorly aimed, but he had no honest intention to hurt her feelings. She was just fun to toy with, and THAT subject was always enough to get her flustered.Sango ate the rest of her breakfast in silence, occasionally looking up at Kiyoshi in faux hurt. As payback she gave him a swift kick to the shin, and even though it did no real damage he played along with an exaggerated flinch. They had a strange relationship - it definitely worked in terms of being friends, but if they had to live together like a married human couple they?d drive each other absolutely insane. And given what they were expected to do in a few years, it was closer to the latter than the former.
How the hell do you people get 5 digits of words in two days?!
They walked a few minutes side by side, with none of them saying a word. Gerald still didn't really get what was going on, and Frank waited for Gerald to ask a very specific question.?How does this world work, anyway??And there it was.?I waited for that one, Gerald. You see, this world has a few rules it must follow under all circumstances.??And those would be???Well, first off, nothing that hasn't been mentioned in any way in the story exists here.??So it only can become reality here if I write about it at least once???Exactly.?As Gerald looked straight ahead, he realised that the lines of building just stopped. He also didn't spot the road anymore. As he looked on his feet, he saw that he almost fell down the road.?Gerald, what are you doing there?? Frank yelled at him from behind, before walking to him and looking in the same direction has Gerald does. ?Huh, never noticed that.??Never noticed that? Everything just stops and you're telling me that you have never even seen???Why would I? There is absolutely nothing in that direction.??And what if anybody else accidently fell down there???I don't see the reason to come here in the first place.?
Excerpts? Sure thing, here~QuoteAwesomeAnd a bit later, when the actual fun part of the story is about to start for real:QuoteMore Awesome

Ivan stretched wearily as the alarm went off. As much as he loved to be out at sea doing the job he loved, waking up at four in the morning to get prepped was never fun. He pounded his alarm a little aggressively and forced himself out of bed. The thought that he would be out at sea in four hours was the only thing getting him awake. Snatching a robe hanging from the closet door near the bed, he made his way out and into the kitchen of his tiny apartment. It wasn?t worth investing in a house when he only spent time at home a handful of weeks every year. The smell of coffee greeted Ivan and lifted his mood a small bit. Investing in that fancy coffee maker with an automatic timer was one of the best things he had ever done.Sipping his black coffee he switched on the television and turned it to the news station. He crossed his fingers as the weather girl appeared to deliver his fate.?We?ve had some beautiful weather for the past few days but be careful out there today folks. Massive storms will be rolling in and will last throughout the day. Don?t forget your umbrella!??Fuck me, just my luck.?It figures that there would be perfect weather up until it was time to leave port. Looks like this was going to be a rough morning for the crew. With a grumble Ivan sat his now half-empty coffee cup on the counter and made his way to the bathroom to get showered and ready. As hot water ran over him, Ivan could feel himself getting more and more awake. As he awoke he felt his mood worsen at the prospect of having to prep the ship in a storm, it always meant that they would be late on departure.
Hell.It wasn?t quite typical to the average person?s conception of it. There were no winged devils prodding people with pitchforks, no seas of fire, no wailing of the damned (or at least not too much of it). The walls were not cavernous pillars, the roof was open to the skies above, which were a familiar blue. At a glance, it didn?t look all that different from the real world. But Hell it was nonetheless. The people there were there for punishment after the lives they had lived, ostensibly to purify their souls. While they had formed a rough sort of community, it was only out of need for something familiar, and the same crimes that had damned them to their torment here continued to make their lives miserable.Which was perfect. Hell, it turned out, was a grand sort of sweet shop for the demons that ran it. They fed off the hate, the fear, and the anger of those imprisoned, each to their own kind. When a soul had reached redemption, the demons could tell simply by the fact that it no longer provided nourishment for them. Of course, the demons would keep them around and torture the souls themselves, except that it was banned by the whole arrangement itself. Seeing as the deal meant that the demons basically had a permanent 12-course buffet at all times, and they were never satiated, none of them really wanted to disrupt the system anyway, and any who went rogue would be swiftly dealt with by his compatriots. It drove Valraden absolutely nuts.
I'm going to start at some point today. Totally.Hopefully.:ohdear:
You should hit 5k by today
I can't bring myself to write today, instead I spent the day playing Fire Emblem 6.Crap.
