Alright, this is gonna be my first adventure game thingy, so if you have some advice or if I'm messing up the game jargon, please tell me. >You are a resident of Gensokyo living in a tent inside the Forest of Magic. You are a vendor, selling whatever trinkets you have to the residents of Gensokyo to make a living. >Your operations are very limited, you do not have enough reputation to get people to come to you, so you must go to them. At the moment, you can only carry objects that can fit in your pockets and hands. And you can only store what can fit inside your tent. >The tent is not very large, only big enough for you and a boxful of stuff. >Although your danmaku skills are lacking, you may be able to hold your own against a first or second stage boss, or at the very least, pesky fairys who like to swipe your stuff. >After a certain number of actions, the day will end and you will have to go back to your current lodgings and sleep. >Your will gain more inventory by either random events or by going and looking for stuff in your surroundings which will take up a good portion of your day. >Currency of the land is gold pieces. >At the end of each day, 5 gold pieces will be spent for food. >Your goal is to find a new base of operations and become a well-known shopkeeper like your competitor, Rinnosuke. >Today is a clear day and excellent for travelling to sell your wares. Right now, you do not have a very good lay of the land, so you do not have enough courage to go exploring right now. Accessable areas are: Alice's house- Alice lives here Forest clearing- Good for harvesting various plants, random objects occasionally show up This is my first game, so do the mechanics seem like they'll work? Any flaws? |
| Kaisou:
I'd say it actually works, even if the mechanics are like Roll to Dodge. Anyways... >Go to Alice's house to see if she has any shopkeeper tips if she'll tell you, or see if she can use what you have as magic reagents. |

So you head back to your tent and see what you have. 10 gold coins 20 nails 5 lengths of string 7 pieces of colorful cloth You load everything in your pockets and head back. By the time you get there, its around 11-ish. You knock on the door and Alice answers it glad to see you. She invites you in and you sit down. you two have a good buyer-seller relationship because your trinkets are useful for making dolls. After idle conversation, you ask if she has any advice. She doesn't really due to living in the Magic forest away from most people. Even though your stuff is usually handy for doll making, she says she needs an enchanted ribbon for a special doll she's working on. She offers 5 gold if you can get one for her. Accept or decline? |
| Kaisou:
OK, either I'm the fastest to play this or I'm the ONLY one to play this. >Accept, I'll need the money... |

You go out into the forest and look around for a ribbon. You see trees and the occasional fairy. Fight a fairy to see what they have or do critical thinking to find where an enchanted ribbon is? |
