>"She said that the first meeting would be at this Hunter's Moon, at the mansion. I get the impression that further details about the group will be fleshed out at that time."

>"Alright, I'll do my best to have some time to attend," says Eirin.

>"May I ask exactly what you told Marisa?"

>Eirin looks upward, putting a finger to her cheek. "I think my exact words were, 'It's all true! I give up! Just leave Eientei alone and I'll go home peacefully! You win!' Mostly she just insinuated we were in league over an invasion plan that happened to go terribly awry."

>"Well, the obvious culprit would be Yukari," says Eirin, as she moves on toward another Celestial. This one was definitely one of the receivers of that Master Spark; she's unconscious and charred.
>"That said, I wonder if anyone had anything to gain from this?"

>"As for who benefits... I'm honestly not sure. We have little material wealth for the taking, and a great many people I've encountered have been actively displeased about these events. The only person I've seen who seems to regard any aspect of this as positive is Tenshi, and as I said, I have reason to believe she had no hand in this."

>Eirin nods. "I doubt most people, were they behind it, would be forward about it if asked. Especially by someone such as  yourself. Even discounting Yukari's tendencies to be evasive and playful."
>She nods along with your assessment.

>"Really? I would have thought her a prime suspect for you," says Eirin as she checks over the unconscious celestial.
>"They are?" asks Eirin. "I'm afraid I've not dabbled much into shadow-based...well, anything. That seems like a question for a someone more inclined toward magic. But, I suppose I can say that something which doesn't cast a proper shadow must be very sick or cursed."

>Eirin nods, as she looks over the celestial. "It would be unkind of me to walk away. Reisen will still be there when I get back." She pauses for a moment. "Well, she had best be there if she knows what is good for her."
>You find a tall red-haired celestial leaning against a tree, nursing a couple danmaku wounds to her shoulder. You get the feeling this was her first time in a danmaku battle, she's clearly taking it worse than it is.
>You ask her about the Hinanai clan. "I'm not sure," she says. "I heard rumors there might be some guests, but I never looked into it."

We're also looking for people that know about how the heavens tick, right?

Eirin's "sick or cursed" idea is a potential lead, but runs into something more interesting as well: I don't think the islands cast shadows when they were high in the sky, either. So... they've always been cursed?

Ironically, :phoenixwright: this sounds like something normal!
There was something here once. Wonder what...

Yes, we'd also like to find a scholar of some sort, if we can. Hopefully whatever person she directs us to would know who to talk to about this as well.

As for this being a normal property of the islands, keep in mind that as high in the sky as these islands normally are, they mightn't cast noticeable shadows on the ground, whether their shadow properties were normal or not. They might simply be too distant. I'm not sure the islands have ever been in a position where someone would be able to easily tell.

But I'm also inclined to think that this may not be a direct symptom of the ultimate cause of whatever happened.

>"Do you know who I should talk to if I wanted to find out for certain?"

>"I suppose if they have any friends here, that would be a place to start..." the Celestial, frowning after a moment of thought.
