>"Are you sure? Does that mean you went back to check on them, then? There've been injuries all over Bhava-Agra."

>"Maybe I would have if I weren't so busy being chased by you then being beaten up by Reimu and Marisa," says Tenshi. "But there's no need. They're fine. They're always fine."

>"You're doing it again already," says Tenshi. "If Lorelei had said something like that, no one would have questioned it. But since I did, suddenly it must be wrong."
>You really can't think of a tangible reason why. They are Celestials like anyone else.
>"Yeah, I guess."

Geez guys, you shoot down my ideas because you're worried they might make her more depressed, and then you ask Tenshi to logically state why she believes the people she loves most are not fine and happy.

>Take Tenshi to Bridge.
>Can we spot Sanae in the air on our way there? if so, avoid that area for now.

>Scratch that. We should make an effort here at least.
>"I'm sorry. You're right. I promised to be more courteous."

What do you mean, 'we should at least make an effort'? I was pointing out that it was a logical follow-up question and had nothing to do with us doubting her personally.
I didn't ask her to state why they're not fine, but why they should automatically be fine 'just because', which makes no sense. I'm hardly telling her that they're not. What was 'discourteous' about that?

If she wants to believe her family is okay, we should let her believe her family is okay. Okay?

Frankly, I think it would good for us to actually bring her to them to check. If they really are injured, maybe it'll help get it through her head that actions like this have consequences. Sometimes even consequences that you personally care about.

You're missing the point. The point is, you never should have asked her that in the first place. If you explain why you asked, and told her "It's not just because it's you" We'd still be trying to argue against her, and that would basically just mean flushing down everything Iku went through to get Tenshi on her side.

I do agree, she needs to see the state of the islands for herself, but that's not the issue right now.

Asked her what? Why she was sure they were fine? It seemed a legitimate question considering she might very well have already had time to check in on them. We didn't know where she'd gone immediately after leaving us, at the start of the morning.

I also fail to see why questioning her logic at any point automatically flushes down everything we've done so far, but I'm not going to press that point.

>You consider pushing it a little further, then decide to let it go and apologize. "Yeah, yeah," she says.
>You start toward the bridge, flying over the warehouse district. Thankfully, it is not quite so imposing from the air. Looking toward where the Deva lives, you don't see any danmaku, suggesting the battle is done.
>As you draw closer to the bridge, you see Sanae standing on it near the gate.

>"Well enough, came out on top," says Sanae. "What'd you find out?"

Do you think it's possible your goddesses may have something to add, or had they already told you they had no idea why this could have happened?"
