>She frowns at the page for a moment, then brightens. "That should do," she says as she resumes writing. "You going to stand in the antechamber all day, or are you going to come in here and tell me why Reimu's going to burn the town down?"

>You entry the room properly. It is quite large, with a ceiling that reaches up a few yards. The walls are covered with elaborate scrollwork, here and there touched with moss that you are certain is decorative. There are statues of various animals, which seem to have been carved from rock itself, set into wall sconces. Large sliding doors, covered with bright paintings, are set into the walls here and there, and you see balconied stairway leading deeper inside near the back. You think that you hear a fountain somewhere. The Deva sits in the middle of the room, writing away. You notice a box at her side which is filled with many sheets of paper. Obvious exits are West, North 1, North 2, South, South 2, and East
>"That sounds like a-" says Deva K, before she stops and looks up. "Wait. Did you say 'Sanae's mountain'? As in, Youkai Mountain?"

>"Well, well, well," she says, looking toward the two of you with a toothy grin. "So the queen of the mountain finally came to pay her respects to the Devas, eh? Only took how many years?"
>"Um..." Sanae says, biting her lower lip a little. "I'm sorry?"

>"Oh, not a history, none at all," says Deva K as she stands up. "Just they took over the mountain, and didn't even pay us any respects. Makes you think, you know?"
>You were standing beside Sanae, so you shift upward a bit.

>"Heh, about the only way you bother Suika is if you steal her gourd," says the Deva, as she picks up her sword. "But you know, it's nothing to get that worked up over, we did leave it behind and all. Still, makes you wonder, doesn't it?"
>Sanae takes a small step, but you note that she isn't retreating so much as falling into a good stance to dodge.

>"Yeah, but that's not the point," says Deva K, as she walks around the table and starts to approach. "Like I said, that's nothing to get worked up over. But, you know what is worth getting worked up over?" She smirks. "Whether the new queen can hold a candle to the old queen."

>Quickly proceed towards the area Deva K indicated.

>You say your goodbyes as the air starts to get uncomfortably thick with bullets.
>You follow the directions, skirting around the edge of the warehouse district, and approaching the burned out region of the city.
>There is a line of mostly intact homes near the edge of the slags, though still in an obvious state of disrepair and really not worth living in. You imagine that they've been abandoned for some years. There certainly doesn't seem to be much activity. To the east, there is little left in the way of standing structures, just fire-gutted wreckage. You can see a few evil spirits floating around them idly, but it doesn't seem like they have any presence around the rundown houses.
