Anyway, this episode.  I'm really starting to dislike this show.  The first part of the episode never really clicked with me and felt more like a little snippet of a plot that could have worked, but out of context it just feels awkward and incomplete.  Additionally, Brief's attitude at the beginning felt extremely out-of-place considering that he'd spent the entire series before then being a blubbering, useless mess.

The second part was so incredibly boring and fell into a bizarre gray area.  Devoting an entire section to Chuck was a strange move: Chuck's were never a huge draw in popularity, and those that enjoyed his antics were met with something entirely different.  Ultimately an incredibly weak tack-on.  I hope that soon we'll be back to the Angels dueling the Demons, since those segments have been the most enjoyable by far.

The music video was cool, I really dug it.

i have the sensation who this cap was a snack meanwhile the last big chapters,like the ad before the last part of a movie.Then, they no forgot the hints who leave pendient: a chapter for Chuck (in 3 parts) a mini chapter with a "Brief revenge" (kinda: He tries to be nice, but is a GIGANT clumsy compared to the mini angels...is the same if you tries to pet a ant: you will end kill the poor thing only trying to give a touch...and nobody seen the pink pot of milk? why he have a pink tea set ?? XD) and something who will leave the weird fujoshis happy for months thinking how was all that with Garter/Brief (i loved the dialogue before the bath scenes XD) ; and end with a bit of that good music who this show have.
the next chapter will have the traditional 2 parts, and the end will be a large one.(at least i believe; Les Diaboliques was a important chapter, then was long; the end will be the same then)

Today I was at a convention and nobody cosplayed as any of the new animeme. Even not Ikea Musume. PnS of course not.
I do know that some episodes were fine and some even made me jijjle/cry positively, but most seems like horrible juke jokes.

I watched the first episode yesterday. Maybe I have too much Touhou on the brain, but Stocking reminds me of Patchouli. I dunno. Maybe it's her voice, maybe it's her reserved demeanor, or maybe  it's something else...but I've seen Patchy in her and I can't unsee it.

(On that note, Panty is starting to remind me of Marisa. She's just as brusque.)

Stocking reminded me of Patchouli at first too, but after watching about 3 episodes that feeling went away.

The first season (if there are going to be more) is going to be 13 episodes, but I really hope that there is going to be at least a second season.

I'm as much of a fanboy of Stocking as you can get, I have a wallpaper in my room, my desktop is stocking, I made a custom Chrome theme with Stocking, the layout I use in other forums is Stocking (I learned HTML and css only for that purpose) and I have several folders called "Stocking" around my hard drive for different purposes, together they are about 15GB big, images only.

It's mandatory that every cartoon has to have a 'shrink and go inside [name of character] episode at least once. In fact, I bet there's something on TVTropes about it since it's been done in like every animated series I can think of. But yeah, it didn't really click for me either.

Same with the second half, I guess they wanted to give Chuck a little spotlight but it sorta...didn't work out too well in my opinion.

GB's backstory was good. 2nd half was sitcom'ish, which really isn't what the show's suited to.

So what, only 2 weeks left? Other than the regular reappearances of the demon sisters, the "plot" that ep 6 hinted at hasn't really come to anything.

if you had put attention in the Garter history, he was guided for red arrows...then, the arrow of the right is the paper who he have for long time. The other one, in the left, is brown,and look broken. Even is burned, but that arrow never appear in the chapter. Must be from another person...down the arrow apears a G, in purple, who very probably is Garterbelt, and in certain mode, represent him: he was a gangster and a sinner before was chosen by God to follow a mission. the red arrow, in white paper and unbroken, have a green B down it. Is the opposite of Garterbelt...now, think in an underwear who begin with B.
yea...Brief.The pure,innocent,geeky red head in green suit...if begin to think with THIS logic...he is in big troubles: teased by "the Hell Comandarrr" (how Scanty and Kneesocks say XD) for some reason (he maybe broken a forbidden seal, do a devil-pact without think well,etc... to search Garterbelt, but he don?t know it before know Panty. that is the true why Brief said who Garter is a interesting person, that is why Garterbelt show that "special" interest for him. Maybe God want save Brief to the hands of Lucyfer, and the arrow-tail ex angel (XD) want Gaterbelt soul. all is about a fight for souls: God wants save them (included a lost soul), and the Devil want down to hell the two (included a pure white soul, the thing who more wants the demons)
they are equal for some reason...and if look the arrows, they look like male underwear with a BIG arrow, and we know who Garterbelt and Brief have in common...well, THAT. XD
And Garter knows all because Brief said it and give him his paper, and that is the other reason he was included in the group for Garter. And, another detail: Garter have very black skin, and Brief, for be a red head with freckles and geek, his skin is VERY white...they are real perfect opposites.
