I'm not concerned with Sanae given Youkai Mountain is the usual launching point for Gensokyo-Bhava-Agra interaction. If nothing else, we can appeal to higher authority by telling her Kanako and Suwako should be able to vouch for us not being directly responsible, as it's very likely they trust us to be truthful.

On the other hand I am sticking by the theory of Guest Island crashing into the mountain until proven otherwise and I doubt they'd tolerate that, intentionally or otherwise.

>"I'm searching for a certain Blue haired woman. Yours appears to be green instead."

>"Well excuse me," she says. "Maybe you should make with the explaining?"

>"I'm searching for the true cause of the island's descent. And for Tenshi. Which I hope are not the same thing."
>"In fact, Patchouli has just given me directions to where she's gone and if I delay much longer, I risk losing her again. You're welcome to come along, if you're suspicious of my behavior. I assure you I have no nefarious or harmful intentions towards Gensokyo or its inhabitants, and wish this peaceably resolved as much as you do."

>"That's pretty convenient," she says, "given you aren't even near any islands!"
>You continue to explain. "Oh," says Sanae, "I don't know if I should let you find her. Because if you're actually behind this it might just be part of your plan."

>Add a mental "hopefully" to that last statement.
>Inexplicable bad end from Parsee shanking Tenshi.

>Your hopes are wavering.
>Her hands are probably too full at the moment.

>We aren't there. Hence the inexplicable.

>Teleporting stabbists are a problem.
>You've never fought with Sanae, but you know she has the support of her deities. So while she is probably less skilled than the likes of Reimu, she's also probably a lot more powerful.

Not really a suggestion but: "...preferably while remaining conscious? I can't help figure this out if I get knocked out."

(Also: Note that it is an option to not fight back to prove our submission and likely innocence)

I fully plan on not fighting back, I think Sanae is swayable, or at least deterrable.

Well, if nothing else, we might be able to confuse her.

>"It's unfortunate, but I have no proof other than my word on this."

>Be ready to dodge anything Sanae might decide to throw at us. Danmaku is now an inevitability at this point.
>"I do have one thing I know for certain."
"Oh? And what is that?"
>"You have nothing to do with this Incident."

Not fighting back.
Umm ... guys! If we don't fight back, we automatically lose. If we Win however, Sanae effectively becomes our Sanae is a Good Girl for the rest of the incident. We should at least try and interrogate her for anything she's found out, and we can't do that if we lose the fight, or if we decide not to fight in the first place.

If she doesn't attack first, we won't need to fight back. >_>
