>What islands are/would be above those northern locations?
>How unbecoming would 'play' danmaku duels be for Celesials?

>You're pretty sure Tenshi and Yukari know each other, but you don't think they are friends. Acquaintances, maybe?
>There should be several. Guest Island would be around Youkai mountain. You could think of several islands that would be over the Forest of Magic. There ought to be a major town drifting over the southwest plains at the moment.
>It isn't forbidden, but an excessive interest in overly violent play may be cause for concern.

>What dealings have we had with Yukari? Do we have any sort of rapport with her?

>The main dealing you remember was when she was being, for lack of better terms, completely insufferable about your message of the coming earthquake a couple years ago, while hinting that Tenshi had placed a keystone at the Hakurei Shrine. You've not seen her since.

>Head southward

>"Sure," says Nazrin. "I'll tell people what you said, for what it's worth."
>You head southward, quickly leaving the village behind. You walk along a well-worn dirt road as it crosses grassy fields. Up ahead, you see an intersection. Further south, you can see the outer reaches of the Forest of Magic. A road leading east branches from this one, heading toward Youkai mountain in the distance. To the west, there is a pond. Obvious exits are East, West, North, and South.

>This might well have happened. But you cannot tell from here.

>Looking down the eastern path, you think you can see some motion in front of a house you know to be the Yakumo home.

>Well, that's probably as good as anything, at this point.
>Head towards it

>You head eastward.
>As you get closer to the house, you notice there is a small island floating in the plains to the north of it, a small one only a few yards across. Drawing closer to the house, you see it is a small, rectangular home, really quite humble for the magnitude of the residents. There is a sizable garden outside, apparently harvest not too long ago.
>Laying in the tall grass on the northern side of the house is Yukari, wearing a simple purple dress. She doesn't seem to have noticed, or at least acknowledged, you yet.

>How was Yukari insufferable, exactly? Aggressive, indifferent, interfering, annoying, etc? Based on last time, what would her likely response to an explanation be?

>Annoying and aggressive. You do not know how she likely to react, though you anticipate some rather acidic sarcasm.

>They are not. Just that they are rarely paid much attention by the residents of Bhava-Agra as they are too small to do much more than serve as places for small gatherings or homes for those of a hermetic mindset. There is certainly a record of all the known ones at the Dragon Palace, but you've never bothered with it.
>You cannot.
>You continue toward Yukari. "What am expected guest," she says, not looking toward you, instead watching the island.

Suggest:
"Yes. Should I assume that you already know what happened, for the most part?"
"May I ask if you know whether Tenshi came this way?"

>"I believe Tenshi's already made quite a name for herself, to be perfectly honest. Her reputation in Bhava-Agra is rather singular, I think."
>"That being said, she seemed just as caught off-guard by the islands falling as I was. She was no more than a few yards from me when it happened, and hadn't appeared to have done anything that could have caused it. I lost sight of her shortly thereafter, and I have been trying to find her since."

>Yukari nods. "Well, I'm sure someone will turn her up. I can't imagine our resident problem solvers aren't on the case. Speaking of such, where do you intend to look for her now?"

>"As for searching, Tenshi was last seen heading south-ish of the village. Murasa wasn't clear on how far east or west she was angling. Since I have no more leads than this, I'm just planning to ask people in this area if they might have seen her. I know you tend to be a well-informed sort, so I was hopeful she might have caught your attention."
