I hope I'm not the only one a little confused by this exchange?

This is all flavor, really. There's not much else we can do in the house that's productive right now; we're just waiting on Hatate getting around and the news spreading at this point. Might as well have some fun with the downtime, and this felt like the most enjoyable storytelling to me.

Well, the way you were broaching it made it sound far more immediate than that. We'll leave aside the magical mechanics for the moment. It is Gensokyo after all. But don't you think that pretty much screams 'too soon' at 120 dB? Give them a few years, anyway... >.>

Out for the night, since I need to be at church in a few hours. I think this bit of storytelling has mostly run its course (though if Renko keeps prompting us, by all means, oblige her). Feel free to go out and explore our new famous world. I do recommend we try to get to Reisen's, but personal opinion says top priority right now is Kogasa, followed immediately by Reimu.

Top priority is Kogasa, why?
And Reimu said she'd contact us if she had any reason to.
This is even assuming all the various people have received / read the paper yet, anyway.

Because we told her we would and she's practically our next-door neighbor. The trip to her place and subsequent conversation would take almost no time at all. Might as well get her out of the way first, instead of having to divert our salesman travel and make an obnoxious detour later on.

If you don't want to visit Reimu, then we can go to Marisa's. Before you ask/point out she may not have the paper yet, I argue that it's better to be up-front and honest about things.
