>To Renko: "Apparently its mind is stirring. I don't know what that means, but I'm sure it can't be good, given the circumstances."
>To Koishi: "If you can't touch its mind, do you think you could at least fire at it? There's a book in the middle of it that's powering it, and we need to get at it."
> "Oh, by the way, I've kind of been looking to speak with you, Koishi. After this whole ordeal is over, could you spare some time to talk?"

>"Got it!" Renko says.
>Before you can ask more of Koishi, the Construct extend a hand in your direction, and suddenly there is fast-moving danmaku coming at you!

>You shift aside and back! The shots are fast and large, but thankfully it's just a burst of five largish shots. Still, it would be extremely easy for something that fast to catch you off guard.
>"My shots won't be very good," says Koishi, still sounding strangely cheerful. "Touching its mind would be a bad idea, and I need to do that."

>Try to position ourselves for a good shot on the opening in the armor near where the book should be
>Open ourselves to the bracelet. Give of ourself to it. Give it our love for Renko, our hopes for the future, our righteous anger towards Alice, and our conviction not to let anyone else be harmed here
>Fire! Give it everything we have. Concentrate it towards the book.

>Fire! Give it everything we have. Concentrate it towards the book.

>You try to position yourself, but it's rather difficult. with the construct constantly moving about. You gather yourself, and try to channel aspects of yourself to the bracelet. You give it your newfound love, your hopes, your anger, your convictions. You feel the Mushroom Bracelet respond to this, and the feedback is...tremendous. It feels like something caught fire inside; it's painful, but not in a bad way.
>You focus this into an attack. Bullets swirl from your hands, hundreds of them, so dense that a faerie could not put her hand into it. They swirl at the Construct, striking it in the chest and causing it to stagger back and fall. You see some of its pieces fall loose under the onslaught.
>It ends as quickly as it begins. You feel a bit drained, like you had been running for past half hour.

> If we manage to open ourself to the braclet, say "Hi-Ougi! Now... you... Die!" while shooting the construct with everything we got. "Die!" being said when the last shot hits.

>You were way too overwhelmed to be thinking about speaking.

>Take a look at the construct. What shape does it seem to be in?

>You're panting for breath, and swaying in midair. You try to gather your thoughts. It's hard to even focus on the situations anymore...
>You look at the construct. It's staggering to its feet. Its torso has definitely been damaged, and the golden energy making up its missing parts is flaring erratically.

>Renko and Patchouli are already firing on it. Renko is hardly doing anything to it, Patchouli seems to be inflicting a bit of damage.
>You try to catch your breath and steady yourself. Really, you just want to sit down for a bit.

>Fly facing forward, but look behind us. Does it seem any slower than it was earlier?

>You fly back toward the clock tower window, fearing it might be very upset with you!
>You look back. It doesn't seem to be flying as quickly as before. This is a good thing, but not a good enough thing as you are still quite worn out and not flying at top speed yourself. It is gaining on you. But at least you won't have to worry about coming to a screeching halt upon getting in through the window.

>Descend and shift out of line of the window and the likely path that broken glass would fly in the event of an impact
>Glance back up in the direction of the window

>You descend and try to get out of the way of falling debris. You hear and enormous crash, and the sound of splintering wood. Glass and huge pieces of wood rain down from above.
>Looking up, you see the Construct's fist pull back through a sizable hole that it had punched into the wall by the window, and starts to climb through.
